Change in Assasins

Well Today i finaly got tired of have my defence smashed for no reason. well those sniper just train like 250 Mill assassins and start bug every1, thats a exploit that gone too fr already, i here have 2 sugestion to make it more Fair to the players that actualy use the panets for income...

Option1
-make assasins kill JUST offensive Planets. the defence is still smashed by the traditional MASS...

Option2
-make that the guy must have a strike Bigger than the target Defence to use assasins mission.

Option 3
-un-untraineble Assasins. Plus 50% reduction in the Kill rate.

well i prefer option1, and i REALLY think that the server need this.

I dont think theres enough AT on the ascended server for option 1 and option 2 would just advantage the strongest players as they would just build insane defences (a little like now only even bigger) and wouldnt have to bother with assasins at all

The way assassination is atm is fine, the way these sniper accounts are unstopable is the problem

I can see why you would want this. Since I had to choose, I chose option 1 viewing it the lesser of evil so to speak and that something done is better than nothing at this point.


Do you think it would be better to try having
first the offensive planets are killed,
then the defensive killed when offensive are all gone.

before going all out and just removing the defense planets all together from Assassin?

I voted option 1...

its just too easy for them to take out both defence/offence networked planets without having to mass someone...

get people to use there turns properly and make it so they have to mass defence units/sab defence weapons

People just assasinate over any defence/strike and if they have a high enough assasin/covert you have no idea who does it to you...


happened to me recently lost 150mill planets (they were networked so 30mill) in 9 hits... and I have no idea who did it..

its just unstoppable....

I like TC's suggestion that it removes offensive first then defensive...

basically like sabbing weapons in reverse but for planets... that could work...

the point of the AT limit is so that people take into consideration the actions they take on the ascended server...

its only a case of massing someones defence down enough to get your strike to 10x's their defence so you can descend them...

You need to make a change to the poll options....you need to add one:
There may need to be some changes made but neither of these are good ideas

I don't like either idea but I will agree, the current system is horrible, there are virtually no losses for a. Failing an assasination and b. Succeeding! Like... sure they are there but they're minimal. Especially when your taking out 1/10 of their attack and defence per hit.

i dont think its an exploit... its the way how the game is run. you just cant play the game expecting that no ones going to farm/mass/attack you because your "big" and because you played the game for a long time.

The only stats needed in ascended are assasinate and alittle strike. Everything else is usless.

Assasinate is entirely to powerful, and its what makes snipers so deadly.

its not just the big that are crippled by it...

I'm mid ranged now (Around 1 bill planets) I could go and utterly destroy people with 100mill armysizes...

in less than 10 assasinates and I'll lose practically nothing... they wont be able to do anything back...

its just for those using assassinate whats the point in doing that to little players when you can get big ones with larger income????

fully agree mate, it make the use of weapondry obsolete, you cant even mass someone in 30 hits but you can kill 95% of there army in 30 hits with assasinate.

i dont like both suggestions....
if you cant assassinate and the AT rate + phasing out stay the same any active player will be nearly impossible to take down, or make suggestion 1, but raise the casulaties by a **Filtered**!!!!


or i have a suggestion for you...raise your assassinate levels & assassin number...???? sell your offensive weapons until you reach 2000 AT (and go snipe away when you reach 2K at); crash your Command star on someone (CS is so useless.....), so your rank go down and YOU HAVE the rank mod !!!!

i'm rank 1000+ with 1,4B army size and i am pretty immune to sniper.... haven't seen any sniper since the 50%army size/50%stat rank modifier!!

hummmmmm, intresting. Course I think everything should be untrainable except resource planets.
