I just cant believe people take scientology serious, its pathetic.
No offence any scientologist, but if tom cruise put his hand in fire, would you do that too?

Scientology is a so called religious group founded by a science fiction writer. their beliefs sound like something out of science fiction, and they are virulently against any form of psychiatric medication/treatment. probably why they are able to keep members; if its followers got proper psychiatric help they'd see how f-ing stupid their beliefs sound.

LMAO why do you think they are against psychiatry?
Because as MGZ said they would really look stupid if they got psychally investigated...

It no more stupid then any other religion, if the world can put up with christianity, hinduism, buddism, the jews, the catholics and the jedi, then there should be no problem with scientology. The basis of the theory has some merit..aliens seeding earth..quite possibly true..

Its true that its no more silly or far fetched than most other religions, not to say religion is wrong...
...but scientology is most definatly the biggest joke ever, i mean, the guy who started it, started it for a bet...he said "the best way to make money is to start a religion"...
...he was correct, Less of a religion now, more of a very powerful organisation....

true that it isnt as far fetched as some of the other creation stories out there, but definitely wierded as far as normal good/advanced/enlightened things go. They reject any sort of mental healthcare programs whatsoever, believing them to be about brainwashing people

Heh... ok, here's my version of existance:
The Universe, all of Spacetime, etc. is all but a neutron in a massive beer being brewed by the God-entity that created all that is. The fact that there is life/existance/etc in our Universe is pretty damn meaningless, as we're all just floating in a really apocalyptically big beer.
We must all live and worship that day, billions of eons in the future, when th beer is brewed and the God-entity drinks of it. Though humanity itself will not live to see that day, and likely neither will our universe, and thus the idea of "a day" will be meaningless; that day will bring about massive destruction of countless Omniverses that make up the All-encompassing Beer Except Everything It Does Not Encompass.
All of existance is thus meaningless, a simple by-product of the All-encompassing Beer, and thus we must live and exist only to worship the Day of End, when the God-entity will drink trillions of Omniverses.
The end.
