<</ Long distance overview of a Lantean Cityship floating on an ocean on a distant planet. />>
<</ Camera zooms in on the Cityship, zooms upward through the city to the central spire, giving a good shot of an Aurora-class battleship docked between the piers, and we zoom up to the balcony near the tower apex. />>
<</ Busy figures can be seen walking inside, three people are standing on the balcony, looking out over the city. />>
<</ As the camera zooms in on the three figures, we can see a clouded sky and a dense forest mainland in the distance. />>
<</ The lead figure is Hermocrates, Commander of Evenor, the Lantean Cityship we're standing on. With him are Timaeus, Captain of the Heraklion, an Aurora-class battleship, and Auriel, Army Commander of Evenor. />>
<</ They are discussing new arrivals to Evenor. />>
Hermocrates: "There are too many of them. We cannot possibly hope to welcome them all, to support them all. Evenor has been functioning on one ZPM for a full year now, and we are starting to see the effects of that in our power output. It is draining. We must put a stop to these newcomers, or they will drag us down into their doom."
Timaeus: "We can make room on the Heraklion for some of them, but even cannibalising all interior spaces and weapons rooms will not give us the amount of space we need to give them all refuge. If I may make a suggestion.."
H: "Go ahead.. we will look to everything to find a way out of this."
T: "Perhaps if the Heraklion were to undock, and seek out the cities of Gadeirus and Mestor. If we call to them for aid, perhaps they can still create ZPM's."
H: "It was a grave misfortune that the Zero-Point facility was destroyed in that ion storm.. but we have held out this long, I am sure we can withstand whatever is thrown at us."
Auriel: "Given the presence of a second ZPM, we might be able to restore our own Zero-Point facility, to allow for the City to function at full capacity. I would deem it feasible to obtain a ZPM from either city. My advise would be to send Timaeus and the Heraklion out to get them."
H: "I cannot send the Heraklion out. Not with these new threats around. We may be the greatest power in this Universe that we know of, but ships have been disappearing. There's no telling what sending Timaeus out will have us lose."
T: "Commander, I have taken this risk all my life. It is what we do. We're trained, and prepared to lay down our lives to further the greater good. You've said it yourself, we must stop at nothing to make a place for these newcomers to stay. I say the Heraklion leaves as soon as she's ready. Unless you order me not to."
A: "It would be prudent to move the city towards the mainland. A bridge connection would greatly enhance our chances of offering a home to the newcomers. It is a pity they are so fragile."
H: "Very much indeed. They are miraculous creatures, but they are so very weak.. Often have I wondered how they survive any environment other than a birthing pod."
A: "Hermo, I doubt these.. Asgard, I believe, would reproduce in a pod. They don't seem like the type."
H: "Whatever their means of reproduction may be, they did reproduce, and they did advance. Now we have to pick them all up and bring them to the Elder Council. I have difficulty seeing the wisdom in this, but they know best. If they tell us to bring them, we gather them and bring them. It is as simple as that."
T: "I will take my leave then, and inform the Heraklion to prepare for departure. You are agreed?"
H: "Yes.. we have no choice, unfortunately. Auriel, you believe your men can fix the facility given a second ZPM?"
A: "Indeed, we believe we can."
H: "Alright then. Timaeus, you're a go. Auriel, come with me, we need to attend to our guests."
<</ Scene ends with Timaeus saluting and leaving for the transport chamber. We follow Hermocrates and Auriel as they walk through the control room to the briefing room, where three identical Asgard are sitting at the table. />>
<</ As Hermocrates and Auriel sit down, the lead Asgard addresses them hastily. />>
Freya: "Lanteans. Where are we going?"
Hermocrates: "We received orders from the Elder Council to bring you and your people before them. If you will follow us, please?"
F: "Lantean. We follow you."
<</ Scene ends, and the Asgard and Ancients continue on their journey. />>
<</ They end up: />>
