In sign of protest...

Your realm slips out of the normal planes of existence, time effectively stops, and for all but the residents of the realm, it ceases to exist. When you next login your realm will reappear into ordinary existence, and time will resume its invisible push on all that exists here.

Due to some RL issues and because the administration keeps doing things against the comunity who devotes time and money for this game, in favour of different groups of interests, i have decided to temporarily leave SGW.

I don`t expect anyone to do the same, but i`m sick and tired of cheats being constiently ignored, i`m sick of stupid updates that ruin the game for active people who invest a lot of time and energy and even health for a game that is supposed to be a way to relax, in favour of some people who just use it as a source of income, in favour of people who would do anything including resorting to cheating to have some extra $ for their bills.

I`m not very popular, i`m addicted... but i decided to leave... and many good people are still leaving or already been gone... i hate to say it, but if this is what the administration want from the game, then i have no choice than to find something else to occupy my free time with.

I have sent a list with some people who in my eyes are cheating to a proeminent figure of this game to forward it to the administration. Maybe they will check it, maybe not... i don`t care.

Farewell...

- to all mods, this is not a quitting thread, it`s a protest, so it belongs to general.

:( nigatsu don't leave!

I mean protesting is one thing! A petition! I believe in your cause! But what will leaving do?

I mean, there is always good to balance the bad. But if the good just leave, leaving the bad, where would this game go?

So stay! We love you! :(

Money my dear...money money money....is all that matters..

I do agree that this is a game..money is bad for it..and those who use it for income should be made to think twice as that was not the original intention of the game for the players..but unless you get a good couple hundred..maybe even thousand names...you wont be able to drag the big old $$ signs down...

Which updates are you refering too? Like you, i am also addicted but the way the game is evolving now seems to be only in favor of a certain privilage group of people, while neglecting the majority others. Kinda frustating. Mocking new players, for example in the admin meeting doesnt bring this game anywhere..

I have played many KOC clones, but SGW is the best out of them all. Sure it may have a few problems. But I have played games that go down the drain.

Do I think SGW is going down the drain? Nope it's going fine. I believe it will continue to do well.

My brother made a game like SGW a few years ago. I know it takes a long time and a lot of work to catch cheaters. SGW is 10 times as big as my brothers game is. The admin has been a while for a long time and I think he is doing a good job.

I'm sorry to see you leave man. Come back soon.

I don't know if you can recall it, but approx July or August 2005( I could be off by a couple of months), JUAN shot to the top of the ranks and stayed there for a while.

It was bought to some peoples attention that he had multi's feeding his account and thus, he grew bigger and bigger. We had proof of the multi's, and someone was told some passwords and account names and even went as far as deleting some himself.

Admin was aware. I put together a petition which included the names of over 30 well ranking, highly respected players of the time. I emailed Admin with the petition.

I later found out that he didn't even bother to look at it. Would you like to know why? Money. Thats it. JUAN may have been a cheat, but he was a wealthy cheat so it seemed. .. And so it goes, why would you disconnect a loyal customer who helps pay your bills just because it is "unfair" to a community of online gamers who have grown too attached to the game?

It's the age old story with this game. There will always be those why fly under the radar, not because they are clever and elusive, but because they are let slip by the powers that be.

The truth is strong with this one :)

iv played many of them and this one is going further and further down the list

you think its still doing well     do you have any idea how many respected players have been leaving due to various reasons

maybe its because they aren't been given a reason to stay
