Just got back from watching the fire works on the foreshore. Lovely, we had to share the night with some light rain and a thunderstorm, but I was in good company. Besides the 300k tourists infesting my beautiful beach

I had an awesome day yesterday apart from the sunburn . Nothing beats throwing back a few cold ones with meat on the barbie and taking a swim in the pool.

Yep, was a pretty big letdown. I'm not sure if I would have rathered Silverchair getting number 1. Though the top 10 was pretty decent.

Kings of Leon, John Butler Trio, Cold War Kids and The Panics. Also Faker isn't too bad for Australian Pop/Rock.

Daft Punk was strange, somehow the live 'mix/version' makes it a 2007 track.

Still was good to listen to though.

Watched Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome in the morning.

Watched the cricket/had it on the radio and went off to the city for a night out with the lads. Can't beat the Lion, always having another round with a local band playing and the sport on the tv (earlier on in the night) hearing cheers or cries across the room depending on if a wicket was lost or more runs were put onto the table.

This is the way its meant to be. Aussie Aussie Aussie...
