This is soon the official SGW Game Story. Forum gave me permission to release it.
This story is pure fictional, not related to any ingame actions, StarGate Series or Facts
A new era begins.
In a galaxy light-years away from here, there were several planets each inhabited by a unique species. In this galaxy everything seemed peaceful. Underneath the scant layer of peacefulness, some species were planning a strike. Each wanted to rule every other species in that galaxy. When I traveled to this galaxy, I was a young guy who was looking to get to know these species better, and enjoy friendly relations with them.
I was mistaken to try, as will be discovered later in this diary. Let me start at the beginning. I traveled to Planet P3X-888, where a certain species called Goa'uld were based. At first, the Goa'uld seemed strange to me. They kept talking about peace, yet were developing weapons I had never seen before. One day, during dinner with their Supreme Systemlord, I asked him about this. He told me, kindly but forcibly, not to ask any more questions on the subject. I had a feeling I better do as he asked, or things might very well turn ugly. After spending a full month on the Goa'uld world, I decided it was time to continue on my journey, for I had little time, and a huge galaxy to explore. As soon as I got my ship ready for departure, the Supreme Systemlord came out and told me of a faster means of travel.
Traveling by Stargate.
Ra brought me to a place, known only to a few. As soon as we approached the site, I was told about a device called a Stargate. I asked him about it. He told me it was a means of travel, to almost every planet in this universe. It was created by a species known as "The Ancients". When I confronted Ra about these Ancients, he avoided my questions. As I inquired to the Stargate itself instead, his reply was swift. "It is a massive ring, with an inner track of 39 symbols representing constellations. This ring creates an interstellar conduit, called 'wormhole' and is capable of sending people and objects hundreds of thousands of light years. This Stargate, created aeons ago by the Ancients, is constructed solely out of naquadah. It weighs about 64,000 pounds." Ra told me the Stargate would take me to the planet Halla, but he would not allow my return once I left. Graciously thanking Ra for his hospitality at P3X-888, I left. I had the feeling I had not seen the last of him.. and I doubted he would remember our friendship.
Arriving at planet Halla.
As soon as I stepped through the Stargate, I exited on the world called Halla. As I looked around, I saw strange creatures, looking quite a bit like the beings we call "Grey/Roswell Aliens" back on Earth. I was approached immediately by a bunch of them. "Welcome Tauri, your fellows are already adjusting to their stay here." This Asgard, as it apparently was called, led me to well-equipped barracks. I wondered what he was talking about, but it continued: "You have some time to fresh up, before we depart for the High Council Chambers where we will meet the Goa'uld and Tauri representatives." I freshened up, and as soon as we approached the room, I saw people from my home world. The Asgard explained to me, that these were the humans he spoke of earlier. My fellow humans approached me, and asked me how I got here, and what I was doing here. I told them I was traveling this galaxy in order to meet new species and become friends with them. "Well then, you're just in time to witness a great event in our history! The races represented here are discussing a Protected Planets Treaty."
The Protected Planets Treaty.
I sat in the Asgard High Council Chambers when an old friend entered the great hall. Ra, Supreme Systemlord of the Goa'uld and some of his fellow Lords walked into the room. Ra did not seem to recognize me when he sat down at the table across from me. The Asgard addressed everyone: "We are here today, to set an agreement between the Goa'uld Systemlords and the Asgard High Council. The terms will be as follows. The Goa'uld will leave all planets included in the treaty alone. The Asgard protect the planets from direct Goa'uld attacks, but agree not to intervene in any other threatening situations to the aforementioned worlds. In addition, the included planets are not allowed to advance technologically to a level where they may pose a threat to the Goa'uld."
In a short address, Ra agreed to the Treaty, and the meeting was concluded. When Ra rose from his seat, he looked me right into the eyes. His eyes spoke of nothing but war, frightening me. I didn't think much of it at the time, but I realised I would look upon those eyes again, in full understanding of the Goa'uld intentions. My fellow humans invited me to come back home with them, I could always use the Earth Stargate to travel more. I agreed to come with, but as soon as we were ready to leave, a planetwide alarm sounded across Halla.
Unwelcome Guests.
Looking up at the sky, I saw a strange ship descending on the planet. Suddenly the Stargate activated, and miniature creatures came out. Much resembling spiders, or advanced robots, they crawled over everything in night. An Asgard yelled for us to leave while we still could, as the Replicators were attacking. Replicators.. I had meant to visit them later during my journeys, but I decided against it. I told the Asgard I wanted to help, but I was dragged into the active gate by my fellow humans. The last thing I saw were replicating Replicators.
Back on Earth.
Once safely returned to Earth, I underwent medical checks to ascertain I had contracted no strange viruses, or been taken over by a Goa'uld symbiote. When the final word came that I was "clean", I was asked to talk to a guy named Jack O'Neill. He informed me of the bigger picture of the things that happened on Halla, and painted a picture of things that are to come. Let me say.. both world wars look like schoolyard fights compared to this. O'Neill asked me whether I was interested in joining an advance Tauri exploration squad, called SG-1. I told him: "When the battle resumes, I will happily put my skills to the aid of the Tauri cause."
All-Out War.
A few days later, we received word from the Asgard, that every race was going to war with each other, and that the galaxy was descending in chaos. He also told us that the Protected Planets Treaty had been adjusted. It is now open to every race, for 48 hours. They cannot attack, and cannot be attacked during that time. Everyone would respect the Treaty, regardless of race.
StarGateWars!
So that is how this came about. The Asgard at war with the Replicators, the Goa'uld hovering above the Tauri homeworld.. War has come to everyone's world, with no end in sight. Every race now fights for domination, and does not hold back their powers or technologies. I will fight alongside the Tauri, my brethren.
For you, the day has come to choose your allegiance, and pick your race of choice. Who will you side with? The Tauri and Tollan, explorers and fighters of the galaxy? Goa'uld and Systemlords, aiming for complete galactic domination? Replicators, NanoTiMasters, masters of regeneration and intelligence? Or the Asgard, or even the Ancients, excellent defenders, striving for peace in the galaxy.
The path is yours to choose and walk. May your decisions be wise, and your actions worthy!
