A forums request..

Since we have a public dump, precious moments(most topics there arent even known by 99% of members as precious moments lol) and temple of spam never pruned anymore, I simply wonder if it would be possible to withdraw from the hidden section or if you want mod dump or whatever, all the topics there which have at least 3 pages of posts, not the ones which insult/mock or anything else a member mod or admin, just "positive" ones such as appreciation threads count threads cults ect...I think that would please many spammers and there wouldnt anymore have spam invasions on sgw general or scuh sections.
What do you think?

Many old spam topics that should belong in precious moments (considering what is there, and some are less worth than topics I point at) are in a section that when you view your old posts, (via view posts, not other searching ways such as search link in top of page), you find many posts with section called "global announcement" in grey colour and unacessible (unlike usual sections such as game suggests, bugs temple of moose this&that ect...), when you click to view posts it says "post requested doesnt exist" (or something like that), infact they all lye in a hidden section visible to mods only but they surely aren't used anymore, what I ask is that some of them get back to temple of moose or precious moments, those with over 3 pages of posts and not being considered as "bad" topics by mods such as topics insulting/mocking anyone or full of flaming (modded-locked topics I mean, not them being back I mean, they fine where they're, no comeback for them!! And thats good way to select and have a good fair easy selection and not tons of time to determine which are ok and which arent).

Of course it's selected few old spam topics as I said which have been posted in alot so they were worth at their time hence deserve a second life, just not flaming meant to do topics with many pages in, rest should do it, and I'm sure I talk of maximum 10-15 topics if I've good memory!
Most were appreciation threads cults and assimilated, or topics about the temple or spammers duels all of them with over 3 pages see they are popular so desever a second life!

You are mistaken Apophis.
what was happening (from a long, long time ago to now):
1.) every other day temple was cleaned/old threads deleted, select few go to precious moments
then
2.) every other day temple threads go to 'the dump', after x time has passed 'the dump' is cleaned
then
3.) every other day temple some temple threads have an autodelete
then
4.) nothing is moved out of the temple, auto delete is removed
Myself and squish were, at one point, moving old spam topics out of the temple, but if I remember properly it was decided that it would be deleted anyway (even the moved out threads were to be deleted), and as far as I know the area that threads are moved to is still cleaned out... periodically.
During a cleaning phase I went through and cleaned out old spam topics outside of the temple... which resulted in significant post count drops for spammers, yourself included. I'm surprised you don't remember. Many spammers lost a lot of posts, like Jack, thal, ..., and you. I remember you making a comment in the temple about the secret to a high post count is to post in other areas. All of this is about the same time you wanted to reduce the post count in one or more of your accounts for some strange reason.
=
Squish and I decided that we didn't want to delete spam threads, and so moved them out but didn't delete. After this an auto delete was put in with market areas, etc.
=
It was the concerted effort of squish and myself to lobby to have the autodelete removed from the temple to give spammers back a history (something they can look back on with fond memories). Pookie killed the autodelete and had a stickied thread in the temple celebrating it.
If you have questions about the temple and what happens it would be faster to direct them to myself or squish. This could have been answered in one pm, and avoided spreading misconception.

I want to answer on first place to major question you ask here: about the dleted topics ect, yeah it disappeard of our post counts (9k to 5k for me) sure we all agree...
HOWEVER, I am talking about topics I can see in my post count which still appear, under section "GLOBAL ANNOUNCEMENT", which, normally, when u have asection in your posts search list from profile, is in BLUE COLOUR and can be CLICKED IN (you can acces said section in other words), here, it's like a dead section in GREY COLOUR (like deleted accounts or guests) but POSTS STILL ARE VISIBLE IN MY SEARCH BUT WHEN I CLICK SHOW POST IT SAYS IT IS NOT EXISTING, UNLIKE THE ONES YOU REFER TO WHO DROPPED OUR POST COUNTS AND NEVER APPEARD AGAIN.
Secondly I talk of topics dated of october 200
6-december 200
6. AS I SAID THEY STILL APPEAR IN POST SEARCH THROUGH PROFILE.
I'm not yelling I just use caps to "underline" what I refer to

I can "quote you" topics' posts or even link them to you, and you'll tell me with your supermods abilities (if you want/can do it of course) if they are indeed deleted as you say and so classed in the "group of topics" you mean, or not really deleted (which is logical, since they still appear in searching through "view posts of the user" !!! UNLIKE the ones you refer to, the many spam topics which dont appear in my posts and even didnt in past, when I asked why it shown 9k posts in profile and thru searching only 4.7k) like I say.

It may very well be because the problem with the search function that you described before. I'd like to point out that I spoke with Baz about that issue, after we talked.
If you send me the links to those threads I can find them.
I'm sorry apophis but I can't speak to anymore of your post. I don't mean this to be a joke or an insult, but I wasn't able to clearly follow what you were saying. It was probably me, as I've been working my brain a lot today and this week.
I don't see you on msn, so if you could send me the links that would be helpful.

I think I know what it's.
Admin deleted global annoucements section.
These topics must have been moved there & locked before.
So he didn't moved them back to other section.
Must be this...?

I looked at the ones you sent me and these ones, and I they don't exist. I've asked Bazsy to confirm my finds as well and he get the same results (for the list you pm'ed me). As I said in pm, I am therefore led to believe, that it's a problem with the search function.
