Interdimential(sp?) raid

Once a year, a race of aliens come from another dimention and attacks, raid, sab., and blows up planets. They will attack everyone. The damage will depend on your rank and stats; the higher your rank is, the higher the damage will be. Your stats will help lower the damage but not enough to stop very bad damage. Your defence aginist the raiders will include both Att and Def. This not a reset, but a way to allow more people to have a chance of glory and the number 1 spot.

Your logic is flawed, those at the top can afford to rebuild. I'll use myself as an example. I can replace my army man for man 12 times over. I maintain enough naq to rebuild my weapondry from scratch 2 1/2 times.

You could level my account and in 1 turn I'm right back.

Then people with your type off accounts should be hit three times as hard

lol nah ... though ....

anywayszzz, the idea does offer a way to reduce the overall max power without a reset.

Not really, The big gunz build to a certain level and stop. often never increasing or decreasing for long periods of time. This would do nothing but hurt everyone. I bet i can take a 3 times loss and recover quicker then someone 3 times smaller then me.

I see and agree with the G&R problem. Personally I do not plan to ascend again as its pointless for me too. And I'd just assune to give away the 50 or 60K G&R I have since the rate of exchange is so pathetic. But I maintain a big def to protect my large income. I maintain a decent strike to be able to level alliances in a moments notice if need be. I maintain covert to keep my privacy and protect my weapondry. I maintain a MS to back up my Def and Att. That keeps me high in the ranks, and I'm not willing to compromise my account just to help someone get G&R.

@ Nos,,,Love the siggy Quote

Thats true lore, the big gunz do indeed more often have the option to rebuild.
What I notice in the game is that the powers remain about the same, but the incomes increase daily, perhaps this is what should be looked at.

Maybe an idea to give lifers an actual lifespan ?

I see what you are trying to do with this, and commend you for it, but Lore is right - the really big players will be able to brush this off as one brushes away an annoying fly, but the smaller players will suffer more.

I'm quite intrigued to the idea of giving lifers (and possibly othert units) an actual lifespan though......

Maybe something can be done about G&R points, it could be something like what ascention your on, if your a first timer going for prior you need to be in top 10k say, gives pretty much all active ppl a chance.
Then when going for 2nd ascention you need to be in top 5k, with every ascention it halves 3rd=2.5k 4th=1.25k 5th=600 and so on.

Well Lore mentioned the problem with the G&R range, the bigger guys are mostly in the G&R range themselves even if they dont plan to ascend again, not giving the smaller guys a chance to get there.

So im basically saying it would be nice if the G&R range wasnt so hard to reach for smaller accounts.

Idunno. the way I see it is it being hard to get to G&R now makes up for it being retardedly easy when ascension was first released. Ascension shouldnt be easy to attain, nor should it be impossible. It's not impossible to build to G&R but it is hard, just the way it should be.

Give it a few months with all these 50m armies about at the moment, it will be impossible to get into G&R range.

I'm not convinced it is that difficult to get into G&R range - if you really want to do it, it is easily achievable - even for new accounts.

nothing is impossible... it just takes more time...

hmm im not so sure, if you started a fresh today, without any help how long do you think it would take to get into G&R range, with all the rest of the account getting higher incomes and increasing stats.

Well I only started afresh back in mid September, and have only really been playing part time (due to my job - for example as of next week I'll be gone for at least a month!), but since around mid October I've been hovering just outside G&R range, without doing very much at all. But if I put some effort into it I reckon I could break into the range quite easily. :?
