this is a question for those who really know their stargate...

an episode i beleive in the times in which O'Neill had all that ancient knowledge in his head courtesy of the head grabber thing...

i remember a particular scene in which he is placed somehow inside Thor's mothership computer. he proceeds to fiddle with the lights turning them on and off... i want to know what season and an episode name/number if possible.

if anyone could help me out with this i'd be most appreciative. Thanks

Wait a second, Im not a 100% sure it is that episode, because he had ancient knowledge implanted in his head courtesy of the head grabber thing more than once...

Season Two "the fifth race"

Where at the end oneil ends up on an asgard mothership and is greeted by thor...It could be either of these episodes, i think there was anouther one around season 5-6-7 as well...Although could be makeing that one up.

in the other eps he wasnt connected to the comp of thors ship. in new order he was, because he had to use the asgard tech to create the anti-rep weapon because the last major asgard homeworld was under attack.

i especially remember it because this was the only ep where he was in stasis because of the ancient knowledge, because after activating the thing in the anarctic he went into the ancient stasis pod so he could stay alive untill the others could find the asgard or someone else to help him.

Thor interfaces O'Neill's mind with the ship, hoping Jack will provide them with the information they require to defeat the Replicators before they heal him by removing the Ancient library downloaded into his brain ("Lost City, Part 1"). Jack appears as a holographic projection, and almost immediately he begins to construct something.

Thor connects the stasis pod that has been holding O'Neill with the computer of his ship and the computer translating Ancient. Eventually, O'Neill is able to talk through the communication system and indicates his control over the ship by the activation of certain lights. Appearing as a hologram, he starts to work on a weapon to use against the Replicators.

But the Ancients weren't introduced till much later I thought.

I beleieve they got around that by claiming it was some sort of "advanced race" etc, but they where always hinting at ancients, e.g. the episode sg1 get stuck on that planet with the hologram writeing thingy, etc...if you watch them now youve seen it all, it fits in to place so well, they really did have the general gist of the entire thing down to a tee from word go!
