Blatant extortion

Hello everyone,,,, let me tell you a story.....
It starts out with myself recruiting one DaDeuceIsLoose, and mistakingly making him 2IC of the Pantheon Syndicate. He was more powerful and knew more people to recruit so I figured he'd be good at the job.
Well he lied to us, broke our laws and got us into an illegal war with the Gods of Europe. He used us to spear-head a war for someone else. Then in the middle of the fighting, disappeared for a day. Upon realizing we got totally played by him, Rathrus (ACO) and I surrendered as we were getting slaughtered. We also had to reimburse the GoE 50 Bill Naq and 5 Mill UU,,,,, of which Deuce paid nothing.
Now the snivelling whiner has gone to his CO, disturbed_one, and they are extorting 5 million UU's to re-build Deuce's account because we surrendered so quickly. Failure to comply and they're threatening to stone-age my alliance and sit on us forever.
disturbed_one and another officer have already started massing/attacking the beat-up remainder of my alliance. This is a complete load of crap..... we owe them nothing.
I'm hoping others out there feel the same.

I have contacted him directly.
He's calling us cowards for surrendering so quickly, even though his officer lied to us to get us in the war, not to mention abandoning us on the second day, and thinks he's justified in his demands.

Was chatting with Deuce last night and I just needed you to be clear on this, cause you\'re only getting Deuce\'s side of the story.....
He lied to us about the war, he said GoE were farming him.
He abused my trust,,, I recruited him and I gave him the 2IC position.
It was the GoE farming some other alliance that we don\'t know about or care about. He broke our alliance laws and called for a war that was someone else\'s personal problem. IT WASN\"T OUR WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He\'s nowhere to be found on the second day of the war as the big guns from GoE started ripping my alliance apart. I held Primoz off as long as I could, but after an hour and 2 massings he got through my MS and started on our weaker members.
Rathrus and I made the command decision to surrender as we were getting our @sses handed to us. With no help in sight,,,, none of us have ridiculously rich CO\'s that can spoon feed us,,,, we surrendered. All this time Deuce is nowhere to be found.
And Deuce was mentioning you were going to be looking for compensation for him??? Judging by what Deuce said last night..... I don\'t think Rathrus is going to pay a single Naq to rebuild Deuce..... and neither will I.
Now I realize that you can erase my account,,,, I\'m not stupid. But I\'ll take Deuce down with me if you\'re gonna press the matter. See, I have a very little strike and a smaller defense..... but I have enough Naq and a nice big MS that will rip Deuce a new *Filtered*..... no one in the GoE could stand upto it, Primoz needed two runs, and I know Deuce can\'t. So I can sit on 3K AT\'s, 1hit attacking and waste that precious expensive Defense he has before you erase me.
I\'d rather it not come to that. I\'d rather we all just walk away and go our seperate ways peacefully.
Can we have peace please???
