any1 here see the movie. i thinks it was pretty good.

I didn't like it.

[spoiler]His mother is part of a group of religious fanatics who is out to kill him? That seemed very, very silly. Maybe it was an extreme version of religious barriers/moral convictions between/within families, etc.

I didn't think the acting was that bad for the hero, but the love interest was terrible.[/spoiler]

it was ok. Could be the beggining of a great franchise, but needs to be watched and handled carefully as the first film wasnt as great as it could have been. I felt the paladins were unecessary, and a opponent Jumper would have been a better choice, introducing the palladins in a second film after catching he audiences attention with convincing fights from two jumpers.

taken as a movie purely for entertainment's sake it was good.
taken as a first part of a franchise it has possibilities.

they kinda leave a cliff hanger at the end there with the mom. she being a paladin and the son being a jumper......... wander wat would happen next if they make a sequel

yeah. it's sort of a bizarre twist on the whole 'vader/luke' thing. would love to see it get played out.

and what about (ponders for a few moments and can't remember) what'shisname - the other jumper? wonder what happened to him. did any of the soldiers get him down or his is still stuck up there?

i took for granit that he died. but idk

yes.. some of the acting was quite bad..

but ever imagine of having such a power? how cool would it be..

I thought it was a good movie, but it get's old fast. I watched it 3 times in a year and now I can't stand it. It is good if watched every now and then though.

This movie was fun, and entertaining. New even but it was poorly done..if you get me.
