Soundwave '08

damn... that was simply awesome... for those who dont know, Soundwave was a music festival held in Australia. i went along this year and saw some of my favourite bands live...
ZOMG it was fantastic...
Killswitch Engage, Still Remains, As I Lay Dying, Haste the Day, Mindless Self Indulgence, Shadows Fall, Bleeding Through and Incubus amongst many others... i havent gone to any concert as good as this one... Seriously...
any other Aussies go? or if your not an Aussie, what do you think of these bands?

MIS were horrible!! why did the guy have to pull down his pants at the end *crys*
but yeah it was awesome!! haste the day were rad, i got to meet them which was awesome!!! AILD were unbelievable, the stupid pit took it out of me =P but i stayed up the front for KsE afterwards but i was too screwed to really enjoy them properly
adam D wasnt as cool as i thought he was though
the overall concert was alright, the tents were too close in adelaide... not sure about the other cities (hehe probably was done better =P)

ive wanted to see aild for a few of years now!!! there was no way i was going to miss it!!! (and im only going to japan in two weeks
)

yeah... tho the band 'Devine Heresy' their lead vocalist amused me a bit, i like their music, dont get me wrong, but he was all like "death to false metal" and "BRUTAL METAL" and stuff. kinda reminded me of metapocalypse

best one? for entertainment value and crowd interaction i'd say mindless self indulgence. tho i left for another stage before the pants down thing.
for music live, either as i lay dying or killswitch... i was right down the front left for killswitch... omg great act...
tho Adam D's little introduction to songs and what he wanted to do after the show was a little... weird... lol we didnt need to hear that.
