Realm Emblem ->

I've been thinking for a while that it'd be cool to be able to have an emblem for my own realm.. like a flag for my nation...that when someone looks at my name and stats, the emblem would show up too.. like an avatar.. an image that differentiates each and everyone of us..as we are different players, and its sometimes easier to remember a picture of a friend/enemy than a long name like Ex: "SuperKiller22748Ava" or stuff like that... do you guys think is a good idea??.. I think i'd be nice.. I'd like to have a flag for my realm..

suggested before
was turned down due to slowing the loading down. Remeber not everyone has hi speed DSL and dial up would be slowed tremedously.

oooh... is there people who still use Dial Up??!?!.. gosh.. that's archaic for Pete's sake... do you think that the subject may be reconsidered?... I cant believe there's still ppl with dial up...

also, this is a text-based game, not a picture-based...
those that see you on the forum can think of you as the avatar/sig you use... but it wont go ingame...

it could be possible to include a new preferences item "Realm Emblems displayed [ON | OFF]"

Not to mention every new image is murder on my load time when on my phone.
It is possible to make them a user choice, but if 80% of the users turn it off, was it even worth it?

and it would kill database storage and the bandwidth of the server itself,
I think the idea is nice, but due to technical problems it wouldn't be implemented alone.

yah.. you see?... people can turn it off and on as they like...PLUS for sure 80% of the ACTIVE players wont turn it off..I'm sure of that.. we need that change to be done its a great idea.. and the ones that do not like it, well they can just not use it... just like the new graphics from DarkDayz, if you dont like them, you can always go back to the old ones.. same with this.. if you dont want your emblem FOR ANY reason, you can just disable it, and it will be worth it.. just like the graphics, just like this new emblem..
this is only to make our game even better.. we need this change
