Now that the sale price of weapons has plummeted (probably due to the intergalactic market inflation or something) I had an idea to be able to transfer weapons.

Like transfer attack weapons to defense. I know that depending on your race the prices of attack and defense weapons can vary, but I'm sure it could just be incorporated into it that a percentage of weapons are lost in the transfer that is proportionate to the difference in cost.

Just something I thought I would put out there see how it floats.

especially considering that all ascended weapons are more powerful...

also, what would be the logic in this?
could you transfer a tau'ri P-90 to a goa'uld and then have it suddenly become an staff weapon? they share neither ammo nor base materials...

yeah, i can see a lot of flaws in it... i just find it stupid how if i have an excess of attack weapons, and want to build up my defense weapons, i sell a bunch of attack weapons, get crap all naq for it and get less than half defense weapons.
