okay, so i was pretty surprised when informed that SGC had been caught cheating.
what are your feelings about this and does anybody know exactly how he was cheating? (multi's?)

Personally, i do not wish to know how or why he cheated, cheating is one of the worst things imaginable 
and why would someone do it, isn't it better to grow on your own and have the achievement of knowing you have successfully done something instead of cheating, and for what you do not gain anything you will only lose out in the end. Hard work is important and lying and cheating to gain something is plain wrong!

just finished reading his entire thread in the cheat section. i have a couple questions that my curiosity needs to satisfy.
1) What was he doing?
2) Has he lost forum priveleges or is he hiding?
3) what did his brother do?
i would really like him to be allowed to at least post here, just to get the jusicy details outta him. yes i agree cheating is wrong, but im impressed that he got away with it for so long. aside from that, he did nothing to hurt me or my account, so i hold nothing against him. i think he's cool and will do what i can to stand up for him if the bashing gets too fierce.
p.s. can i have his account? ahah

Yeah i cannot judge him because i do not know him, but i have to say cheating is wrong, still i cannot judge him

you can find the thread on this topic in either the general or the cheaters section.
Nobody knows what he did exactly.
And I think SGC wasn't a bad person. Just some wrong decisions :s

Didnt know he was banned for cheating
Ive spoke to him on msn before seemed like a nice trustworthy non cheating guy. . .
but i suppose dont judge a book by its cover thats why i will not say he is or is not a cheater untill the situation has been cleared

first i hear off it. hope everything get's staightend out soon.
wouldn't want to see an active replicator go if he didn't cheat.
els it would be a sad situation. he could share a lot off exp to us newer players.

so semper, starry, the two of you have been around for a while.... does cheating get you banned from the forums as well?

I think the answer is yes, if you cheat in-game then you are banned; but not always!!!
Omoc wasn't banned when he was unfairly banned by the auto banner, so auto bans without proof aren't banned in-game. but banings by the admin are forum based as well
so it depends on the situation like if you are found to have properly cheated then you get banned on forums and in-game,
