System against scammers

Im not sure if its a good idea ...after all those scam situations (well i was scammed in another game so i know how u feel guys, and im sorry) i think about some solutions....i have one idea...but i dont know how hard would that be to do and if its really as good idea

it would need admins or somebody to watch it...so ...i dont know
it would be something like a broker...but not a normal broker;)
Person 1 (sells game resources)
Person 2 (uses $ to buy game resources)
Person 1 make a broker. peron 2 send $ on paypal etc and accepts broker. Trade doesnt END now! Its still up-1st Person have to accept broker AGAIN [after he will saw cash on his account]
He cant simply reject the trade tho. I would call it "admin bank".
SO there is situation:
A] player 1 send resources, player 2 send cash player 1 gets cash and accepts trade
B] player 1 send resources, player 2 dont send cash, player 1 dont accept broker [asks admins to cancel deal]
C] player 1 send resources, player 2 sends cash, player 1 dont accept broker [broker dont ends with time, it needs admins to end it or cancel so in this situation player 2 needs to contact admins]
It is not a perfect solution, but can limit number of succeed scams i think...
not sure if i see everything clear, maybe there is a big "bug" in this system...it can be discussed ....just and idea...
Im fed up with cheaters, scammers etc...they destroy hard work of others and well screw the game...so i think we need some actions in this area
++++++++++
Also it would need players who make $ trades (player 1 and player 2) to give infos earleir about msn, paypal account (name) and also should have abbility to make and post screenshots;>
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This could work out great
1 special broker where admin set's up only and nobody els and admin can control so even if you send the money and he wants to do something admin has to approve it.
Dunno if the admin will do it, i heard his a bit of the lazy tipe

Not a bad idea. Too bad admin cant build in cash transfers from players -> players via the broker market.

he can't?
But yes a discussion is going on there, and we even came up with a way admin could make alittle $ on the side to make it worth his while if he will do it.

Hmm.. honestly I think we already know the admins position on 'scams'. The best way to deal with scams is to not do money trades and only trade with 'reliable' people via broker. I know it cuts down on your options but .. *shrugs* much safer.
Note: This functionality was added because of many many many reports of 'scamming' on trades. Goods promised, not delivered. Payments sent, later canceled. Promises of future actions never taken, and so on. ALL official trades are made WITHIN the game. If you make trades outside of this market, the game administration takes NO responsibility for the results. All trades outside of this market are now considered 'black market' trades, and are protected by nothing - you open yourself up to the above mentioned scams that some people work very hard to lure other players into. Please use your judgement, and - if you take a risk and try to trade outside the game - be prepared to lose everything and accept it.
The game administration takes absolutely no responsibility for this transaction since outside of game interactions cannot be confirmed or denied by the game.
Also, this one seems 'newer', not sure when it was put on the broker pages.
NOTE: If you buy goods for $$, and the goods are later determined to be from cheated, hacked or otherwise illegal sources, they CAN be removed. So be very sure you know who/what you are dealing with.

There's already a system in place to prevent scammers - and the Game Admins have made their position on it very clear.
At the end of the day, if somebody is naive enough to use money to buy resources from somebody they don't know, then it is their own fault if they get 'scammed'.
You wouldn't give a stranger in the street $100 if he offered to go and do your shopping would you?

ummm....when u have to go for 4 months it...well makes you a bit behind the rest ...so isnt a better option to sell account (resources) and buy it if RL will let you come back to playing? Also its hard to just drop and delete account after so much work u put into that, and for some ppl also cash put into that.
Actually i dont trade with $ at all (well i did it once in my life) so its not about my problem but i fed up with fu****s who cheat (scamming is some kind of cheating isnt it?) and make $ on that afterr that.
Btw u can be killed everyday right? U can be hit with a car ...but its not a reason to stay in house for rest of life huh?
$ trades is something that exists, and it ownt dissapear just because u dont like it or other ppl dont like it. So maybe those problems need solutions coz its also aboutall other ppl who dont trade with $. It affects them too!
I didnt know about other discussion on the ideas like that, it was what i worked out after i have read a thread when Zay was scammed.
ENOUGH! and about admin who could earn too....yes there could be % of it that goes to admin for using that special brokers i talked about....

"The game administration takes absolutely no responsibility for this transaction since outside of game interactions cannot be confirmed or denied by the game."
Yes i know ! but as i mentioned it happens! And i dont think it wil lstop....and consquences of those actions affect whole community! same as with self created uu which is sold to someone and all of sudden guy form 7 mi luu has 78 mil uu in one night...."lucky raid" huh?
lol
And my idea is to LIMIT that BS and to make it harder for cheaters! Also it gives better control on everything since they see more trades so its easier to track a ppl who play for $ only (like 10mil army size guy sells 2 mil uu every week or something like that...)

The only way to 'stop' them completely is if the money passes through the game servers. I doubt the admin is ready to do something like that. I suppose the 'official' black market could be expanded but.. *shrugs*
What I suggest is that players would have a standing balance on the account of real money they send to the 'game', and can only use that to 'buy' resources from other players. They would get a new field in the broker to accommodate money trades. The only real problem with this is getting the money 'out'. I would also assume it would be a big hassle to make payouts from the staff but I guess we can set limits on that. Say you can only 'withdraw' from the balance once a month at set amounts of 10/20/50/whatever dollars to whatever.

What!!??
Hang on a minute chum - where did I say 'I don't like it'? Don't put words into my mouth, and don't maked half-baked assumptions!
I said:

... which is the same thing, essentially, as trading resources for $$ with people you don't know in-game.
We all know $$ trades exist, and won't stop - however, the basis of the game is a 'free text based MMORPG'. If people want to go outside the existing $$ 'donations' within the game, then why should the Game owner take ANY responsibility for that, especially when they have made their viewpoint clear already?
And once you start talking about the game admins making money, you're into a whole world of hurt - tax implications, MGM sniffing at his door wanting their cut, or threatening legal action for copyright infringement, etc, etc.
It is an individuals choice to do $$ trades outside of the game - and in that respect it must be their own risk.

In this case wouldnt it be better if we make a circle of trusted players , the list is managed by 5 guys lets say ( easier to put the new names ).
To be in the list u need: 1 at least 2 players willin to back u up and pay for your scamm , this will be hard but never impossible!
2 : a minimun history of trades of 5 trades over 20$ each or a trade over 200$ , this will show this person is trustable in a big level ( the more cash he traded for the better this becomes). In this u will need that the guy u traded with post in the forum or let the managers of the group that u did the trade and details.
3 To declare that in your own interest and to show u are not an scammer u give admins to take your account in case u are acussed of scammin. By this i mean that if player 005 sells resources to player 008 for $$, and the player 008 never gets the resources he paid for, the admins now have the right to take the resources he get$$ for !
This statement will be needed to be accepted in the group and more important, posted in public by the ones involved.
4 In a section only for members of this circle , those who accepted in this terms and are already accepted in , the ones trading resources will post in public their deal !!! What they trade for , how much , and why they do it , and a post by both saying they do agree.
5 After the deal is completed both most post they did it and it went OK , if possible to prove they get what they paid-sold sold , then thats better!
I think for this we will need really known trustable players, names that everyone knows ( to be in the 5 managers group ) , lets say and just as an example REK , Freespirit , and dudes like them ( im not really aware if this dudes are trustable or not im just using names as example).
And to avoid more scamms like the ones reyne did... something like this...
If u delete an account u will have no access to it.. but it remains existing , for a few days... just in case its an scamm so admins will have it better and easier to handle back resources ( this wont work in cash or other games scamms )

Nice post - it's good to know that people are looking out for others, but......
Again, it would seem to be shifting the responsibility form the individual whose $$ it is, to someone else - and whether it be game admins, or other players, or whoever, it isn't right to do that. You're essentially making these 5 people responsible for telling everyone else who can be trusted and who can't be - and at the same time, you are also effectively making them responsible for the loss of someone's $$ if something goes wrong and they are scammed - again, that is not something I or anyone else in this game would want to, or should be, responsible for.
Regarding point number 3 - there is no need for people to have to do that, ad the Game Admins can already shutdown and or remove resources from peoples accounts as they deem necessary.
It is good to see people try and think of things to get past scammers - but at the end of the day, anything that is implemented in the game, or in the forum, or puts a number of other players in charge of policing scamming, simultaneously makes the game admins and/or these other players responsible for people's $$. The Game admins policy is clear - they will not be responsible, therefore the game and/or the forums cannot be used to police such a scheme - and even if it could, I doubt you'll find many players willing to become responsible for other people's money.

I didnt say the 5 managers were responsable for anything, they will just manage a name list , a public one with the names of those in the circle.
The ones who will be responsable for the scamm will be the ones who said they will back the trader:
1 at least 2 players willin to back u up and pay for your scamm , this will be hard but never impossible!
And the fact that people gets others to back them up will mean that will be only for trusted players, so scamms will be avoided in this point a lot more.
But i think it will be nice to see ideas for this , ill wait to see if anyone posts something about it see what else i can add to this!

How would this be any different then the "Donations option? If the $$ is used to keep the server up and running, or paying a "Full time" programmer (As Jason seems to be a part timer with a "hobby").
How is this any different?
