Ok I am really curious...

If you are lossing units during an attack doesnt that make you want to make a hit that is profitable? Maybe Im worg, but I am new and want to understand this game more.

Below are two examples I have;

Amount Taken/Enemy Losses/Your Losses
34,087,631,096 Naquadah stolen /61,116/53,735
17,043,815,548 Naquadah stolen /52,761/55,906

This isn't including cost of repair to weapons and MS.

ok now if you can sell your UU for 750mill per 1k, why would you make an attack that results in the loss of both amount you could recive for that loss of units and total Army Size?

I dont mean to offend anyone by questioning your way, I am simplly curious as to why people make these attacks. And take these kinds of losses.

You might be forgetting to factor into those losses that there is a very likely possibility they are 80-90% mercenaries which can be replaced for a few hundred million. It's what makes farming for the most part profitable - otherwise you can bet that almost no one would do it.

ok accounting in the merc I can see how that is true. Thank you for pointing this out. I was aware of the merc thing, but hadn't considered everything before I made my post. Thank you for clearing this up with me and helping me understand a bit more.

And one of these attacks made hadn't had merc's trained.
