First Off: This is not a hate thread.... so don't mass me!


Now, down to business.

I noticed that Delta grew like double in size since that last time I looked at them....(like a couple days ago i think)

My question is....


Why do so many people want to be part of the Empire?
At this rate they could start a new alliance every other week and soon enough we would all be allied with each other, thus leaving nobody to attack, thus leading to boredom, thus leading to a random splitting of the alliances thorugh a completely useless and random war!!!! If the alliances split= no more empire! Ahhhhhh.... wait.... maybe that's good...


But anyways... post why you joined the Omega Empire, or why you would want to join.

Well, if it was a serious topic you wanted...

I can't speak for everybody else who has ever joined Omega, obviously, but this is what I wrote on my application to join..

I could write paragraphs and paragraphs on how Omega is the best alliance there is. On how you’ve remained consistently powerful and respected since day one, whilst other alliances have dwindled and faltered. On how some of the best accounts in the game, and the best personalities, have been Omegan. All of this is true, of course, and has been a pertinent factor in my decision to apply.

But what’s attracted me to Omega most is your sense of fun and community. Everybody in Omega seems to work together, and they all seem to be friends. People who value fun, and fair play, over stats and rankings. And fun, after all, is what a game should be. I feel a lot of people in SGW are all too quick to forget that.

And that's why I wanted to be part of Omega.

see... i think a lot of NON-OMEGAN people view many(not all) of them as arrogant bullies. Not directed at anyone in particular, and I'm not saying that's my view. Just saying.

I can get along with just about everybody, usually. But I seem to grind against the grain of Omega Members.

I'm not going to pretend that there aren't bastards in Omega, and I'm not going to pretend that mine own attitude hasn't become a tad more "agressive" since I came under the influence of players like Replijake and Geisha.

But the bottom line is that Omega doesn't care what a "lot of none Omegan people think"; what's important to everyone in Omega is knowing that everyone else in Omega always has their back. That's what our Empire is about, and what's why people want to be a part of it.

Because we offer it ALL

Seriously, I joined when I had an army of 300 . The real reason is we are friends here, we have a blast as mates, and we have GREAT leadership .

Bottom line , it is a tribute to Rhett, my friend EnterTheLion .
