What's the importance of anti-covert? Does it help raise your rank? What does it do?

its good when your trying to asnced give you a boost but AC is used to kill spies when the other person has no defence warning if you have and ac and the guy has an defecene you will loose some of ur ac when massing use raid till there defence has gone
