Sending PM between realms

OK, I know you can't send PM's to people in purg while you are in normal, but can people in purg send them to main???
The reason I ask is because I just received a PM from someone in purg. HAs been for quite a while and still is

No, you shouldn't be supposed to get messages from perg... in fact, there shouldn't even be a Send Message button when you're not on the same plane.

iv been in purg before and clicked reply to someone in normal and when i went to send it wouldnt let me.

Yeah, that too... and if the person didn't send/receive any messages to/from you within the last 2 months, it doesn't even matter, as the past messages are deleted after 2 months if I am not mistaken - so, to conclude, yes, either the other player made a quick return to normal reality without your knowledge or a really weird bug.

I have officers in both normal and perg realms. When I send a message to "all officers" those that are in perg still receive the message, however they cannot reply to it.
Perhaps if the person in perg has officers in normal then messages can still get through that way?
i doubt that is what is happening here, but there are circumstances where messages can get through realms.

Only messages I know of that go through both realms is "message all officers" and "message alliance".
