Ok... so the other day I was around 60-70 unit production and pulling in around 40,000 per turn in Naquadah... now I'm at 100 units and I'm getting around 20,000.... what the heck?? Can someone explain?

might have to do with the fact that you have trained soldiers or spies out of your uu. Your naq gain is not based on how many UU u get per day but on how many UU u actually have.
Another possibillity could be that you have changed commander.

Ok... guess I'm taking a big risk posting this here... but here's my personnel list

Offensive Away Team 100
Offensive NID Team 50
Attack Mercenaries 0
Home Base Guard 0
Defensive NID Team 50
Defense Mercenaries 0
Untrained Military Peons 274
Untrained Mercenaries 0
Undercover Agents 10
Total Fighting Force 484

I only had around 150 untrained when my naq, per turn was higher... at least I thought so

Then it must have had something to do with your commander...

:-D the less men you have the less Naquadah you have. Maybe if your wondering why you have lost all your progress is b cos you might hav been attacked. Check attack log?

Your unit production level does not effect your per turn income Directly. It does effect it because you will get more UU per turn the higher your UU level is.

What effects your per turn income:

1) The amount of Untrained UNITS (not Untrained Unit Production). Each UU (short for untrained unit), gives you 40 naq per turn. Training a soldier or spy removes 1 untrained unit from the UU group, reducing the naq per turn by 40.

EDIT - The Snake Gods (snigger) get 50 per turn. KREE!

2) Being a commander - You will have to give your officer a percentage of between 10 and 30 percent, in return you get a Unit Production bonus, depending on the level.

3) Being an officer - You will receive the bonus mentioned above from your commander. You do not lose anything for this, it is free, and you give your commander UP, and you receive naq.

I think that's it.
