Upgrades that add 1% to...

What about having new upgradable tihngs. They start off cheap but cost more with each upgrade.
1. Adds 1% extra naq to each of your UU/Miners
2. Adds 1% to current UP Total
3. Stike ugrade idea REMOVED to stop players from getting too powerful.
4. Adds 1% to current Def Action
5. Adds 1% to current Covert Action
But if you ascend, you lose your upgrades on them and have to start from scratch. Each and everytime you have upgraded 100 times, you reach a level on that upgrade and with each level, you get a boost on your Ascended Power Points but the more APP you get from the levels gain, the more UU, Trained, and Naq is needed to ascend with.
To stop players from just upgrading and getting more powerful, there would be a cap. After you have reached Level 1, (100 upgrades, 100% extra on that upgrade) you will only add 0.1% with each upgrade throughout the rest of the levels available. I think level 10 should be the cap. That way, players that plan to ascend a lot can still catch up with there levels as soon as they are ready to stop ascending.

You wouldn't have to upgrade anything but the choice would be there and even though the cost starts off low and increases with each upgrade, it could be made affordable by all players. Yes you would lose more in war but the extra income and UP total would make it no different to what it is now. If you know what I mean.
If everyone upgraded everything to the max, it would be fair as it would be the same as now, only difference, everyone would have 190% extra on each. What would be gained is a more faster game play than what it is now plus extra APP and a cheaper ascention.
Atm, ascending 10x costs a lot and a lot would struggle but the bigger players could ascend another 10x which would leave a lot of players behind even more. This idea would make ascentions more easier for everyone not just the bigger players. The APP gained for each level of upgrade could be huge which would help your ascended account more.
If your thinking big players would get the same so wouldn't make much difference, don't think that.

Big players have already ascended a lot, like me, so would miss out on the extra APP from previous ascentions, where as, A smaller player would of ascended less in most cases, and would stand a much better chance of catching up. I think it would help balance ascended server out a lot more. Ok, there is a growth cap on ascended but it is still a long way away for a newly asceded player to reach.
What if, when you upgrade you get more APP but the UU, Trained and naq needed to ascend with lowers to encourage more to ascend?
Also, what if the Strike Action upgrade was not there, only Def, UP Total, Covert Action and Income?
That way this idea would help with defending a little more but wont help towards attacking so if in a war, even though your Def could be very high, you could still have your def massed away but with a normal strike, non-upgradable.
