This is looking so much better than Ark Of Truth. Not taking anything away from that movie cause it was very good, but i feel this movie will put it to shame. With the cast i can't see how it could be anything but great.

acording to the newest theories time-space is discrete.. so there's no continuum... (just to make this straight)

its discrete so there is no continuum? WOuld u like to run us throught that train of thought there Corran?

That's not hard.
If it is discrete, it has boundaries.
If it has boundaries, it is no continuum.

I guess.. quantum metaphysics was never my strong suit.

Also, one has to grin at the "Just to make this straight" which is exactly what one does by saying space-time is discrete.

well yes....but I was asking Corran to answer that though Auriel. See if he understood what he was saying and not trying to look smart like he usually does.
Though unless the meaning of discreet IS changed specially for physics then the way in which they used discreet could be referring to things other than it not being a continuum. Though I dont know the theory, only the meaning of the words, so it would require more insight to answer the point.
So for now at least the name can still stand happily enough.

i mean.. it is discrete, quantized, means it comes in small indivisable portions, ergo it's not continous, ergo not a continuum.
