Hey everyone,

I was wondering when you ascend do you have to play the ascended server? If you dont play the ascended server does it have infringements on main?

You can become descended or dormant and you will lose some bonuses. The best thing to do if you dont wanna play it is just go onto your ascended account once a day and use your generated resources. thats all. But you shouldnt dis it until you tried it. I didnt like it at first but its not to bad once you get the hang of it.

or you can just put the ascended account in vac

would you still get the bonuses if you put it on vac.

well you lose 50% of your ascended bonuses... which is quite a bargain considering you keep the weapons and that's by far the most important part of being ascended.

ah rite. didnt know that. lol. U learn something new everyday. I dont mind the ascended server though. I hated it at first but u get used to it.

this is great. all i really want is SS so i have to ascend. don't really want to play 2 accounts though.

you should give ascended a try. I thought the same at first and even when i saw ascended I said HELL NO! but its not that bad now.

I'm not 100% sure about this one but what if he didn't create any exploration fleets? No exploration fleets -> no expansion -> no DMU created -> account just sits there and nothing really happens to it, it's not on vac mode so he should be able to keep all bonuses.

they are connected

OK,,, first off if you never log into it, it can never be touched. Secondly never playing it is an option but leaves you able to be deascended.

You don't have to ascend to get SS, you can trade 1000 G&R for SS and not ascend.

i guess if you want the LG title, you'd have to play both accounts
