Is there nothing on the pages when you are actually ascending? There's stuff there but I can't remember what it says. But once you click on the ascend image then click ascend there's some text on the screen.

I have edited the page clarkey,
I agree, Our current "Path to Ascension" page do have many information. But they are not very helpful for Ascending. They are too confusing.
The "Path to Ascension" page does not have any information about advantages or disadvantages of ascension. A more simplified version can be put up on the page and that will be very useful.

The only problem with writing a guide in ascended is how much should be told about it? I almost finished a guide (for ascension) but then i decided not to share it with anyone because it makes ascension too easy and far less interesting lol...

Just include what we will lose and what we will not. The other infos about indu, tolah, ajna and ori are provided in the path to ascension page

i think he wants a guide to ascending, not an ascended guide...
an ascension guide-referencing only the effects to main server should be appropriate.

yea, right , thats what I was trying to tell
All those calculations in the path to ascension page are difficult to understand. Just the necessary points can be put there
Like this..Requirements:-
Naq needed: x,xxx,xxx,xxx
UU's needed: x,xxx,xxx
Trained Units needed: x,xxx
Disadvantages:-
- You lose all on-hand and in-bank resources
- All the trained and untrained units will disappear (except lifers)
Advantages:-
- Much powerful sets of weapons
- Lots of Ascended Life Force given to the Ascended Account

geethan - might help if you didn't use blue on a grey/black background in your posts - the first thing I wanted to do when I saw it was just leave the thread!

lol. Me to.
I like this idea. It would help newbs understand ascension properly without having to be told.

yea that page should be revised a little, it should say what u lose and what u gain . ie u lose yr fleets , weapons supers etc and u gain +x % in yr stats.
also im just curious why all main accounts that sre ascended i lg+1 are same in power , it might be good to have them a little different in main

I disagree completely - why exactly
should it say what you lose and gain?
This is yet another suggestion to simply make it easier for people. Why can't first time ascendees find out for themselves, by actually doing it, what happens?
Hypothetically, if people could actually ascend for real - would they actually know what was going to happen before it happened? Did the Ancients know what was going to happen before they actually ascended?
No - and probably not!
Therefore people gain the knowledge by actually ascending the first time.
If you're really that desperate to know, then there are ways of finding out - but it doesn't need to be added, and shouldn't be added to the in-game ascension page.
Edit: And as I think about it - one of the ideas of Ascension when it was released was that you found out what happened by actually doing it.

There are lessons to be learned in history. One of some such is ascension.
