Mothership?

How in the world are you suppose to afford 450 mil for a mother ship? I have porblems gettign enough to raise my spy level let a lone to buy a mothership. Any ideas on how to go abotu getting one?

Save up by buying the big weapons and then using a calculator do the math and sell off the amount of weapons needed to buy it.
The same can be done for buying spy levels as well.

Thanks for fielding that one Acronon. Very good answer and a tactic we've all used in the earlier days. Now that the market place is open you can also trade some turns or units for 500 million naq which will both buy you a mothership and leave you some change to begin kitting it out
