Can't get back planet, less than 12 hours

Attacking Account: MADPSY ID: 4557 Time: 06:47 Is on PPT and has shifted realms.
Current Time: 17:15.38 (AK, 5:15 PM)
this is 10.5 hours later. 12 is the limit.
I would like to take my planet back, just like the games rules say I should still be able to do at less than 12 hours later.
OK, pre-update before I post. I shifted realms and was able to get it back. But his realm shift made me follow, and realm-shift takes away attack turns, so I had to MT to get attack turns. Realm shift should still let me get planet at less than 12 hours.

Yep, happened to me too once I believe. It's something weird, but cannot explain it

The option to retake the planet should be in your attack log. try checking detail if its not there.

the option was there, and I used it, how ever, when I went to actually do it, I got the "must be in same realm" message, despite being at only 10.5 hours. So something is wrong with the order of checks, or values checked, to see whether I can perform that action.
There should be a 12-hour/24 turn timer/flag, but I think that's getting partially by passed by the fact that when you click on 'conquer planet' from your attack log, you then get sent to the attack page, and have to select the planet.
Suggested fix:
Upon clicking 'conquer planet' from your attack log, the entire set of necessary actions to conquer that specific planet should be completely implemented. Button is only there for 12 hours, let it simply act as an override on all flags. Though, the coding may be far from simple, as you still have to have the right flags implemented to let you attempt multiple attacks to retake the planet.

My problem is that when the planet was stolen, under attack log the button did appear that takes you to the attack page of the thief.
The issue is that when selecting to take back your planet it doesnt show up at all.
I couldn't take it back at all, from the time it was stolen to the end of 12 hours where he placed it under merlin shift.
Didn't even get a glimps of my stolen planet.
