OK, enough is enough!

I just read that weirdy got banned by the Autoban script and obviously he's 100% sure he's innocent and really pissed off.
This b/s has got to stop, NOW.
Jason, it's completely unacceptable to ban people with a script then not get back to them for a month in some cases. Even the people who get unbanned usually have to rely on a Mod to "fast track" their issue direct to jason or go to the weekly meeting, which is often cancelled anyway, and even then it usually takes over a week.
Players get no compensation, no reason for the banning. You just cannot run a company like this, the customer service is non-existant because Admin mark logs in less than twice a month on average, never reads his PM's when he does, hardly ever checks the cheaters forum anyway even when he does log in.
Please sack the useless POS and employ someone or a team who ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS.
None of us want cheaters to prosper, but the current solution is a sad joke. if you can't get back to us in a decent time frame to explain a banning then get rid of the script until you can, otherwise players will just leave the game in disgust.

I've had a couple friends screwed over by the script.. It's just not working how it's intended, sure it's catching some of the multies but it's not doing it's job the way it should.
I agree with Borek.

why cant we have a forum admin who is also a player? someone who nominates themselves (or is nominated) and then gets voted in for say a certain period of time.
this way at least we will have someone who ACTUALLY understands what players are going threw when a problem arises.
maybe we could have 2 admins in 2 different timezones?
i think this topic needs to be made into a poll so both jason and mark can see what we think of this.

I agree with this, i had my account banned right when he put that script there.
I send a mail to all 3 E-mails, after a few days got a reply, after a few more days i was unbanned.
BUT, i didnt get my old account back, when i got banned my alliance went into a war with Alpha, i couldnt do anything, untrain anything, i could do zero!
I got my account back, decimated!
That REALLY sucked lol although i was happy i got unbanned back then lol

Ok, I agree to an Extent. I think the admin should be more active, Check Emails More and fix the problems quicker.
I dont think we need to change admin team LOL i think you just said that because you where pissed off.
I FULLY agree to the Innocent getting paid back their UP and Income worth.
Good that someone bought this Up.. Goodjob.

Admin mark logs in twice a month and doesn't check his PM's, nor the forum he's supposed to be dealing with. Under no circumstances is this acceptable customer service, PERIOD.
if he can't be arsed to log in and do his job someone else or a team of people should be appointed to do it.
Personally i have less problem with people losing resources than i have with the ridiculous delay in contacting someone who can investigate and either reverse or explain a banning.
if these bannings were resolved in 24 hrs no one would really care about the lost resources, but when it's a MONTH, i mean COME ON, it's a business after all, that length of delay is completely unacceptable, any company offering that level of service is going out of business sooner or later.

- You should be put on ppt until you next log in - or at the very least vac mode (in case you have planets you want merlins on; you had large amounts of naq on hand; or were in the middle of a war)
- You should get a broker with all the resources that your account would have naturally generated
- You should be given an explanation as to why your account is under investigation
- You should be sent an email when your account is unbanned
As to the other points - I would never want to see any current players with admin powers ingame. People **Filtered** at ETL for the supposed influence he has over Jason, and supposed ingame powers - now imagine what would happen if he really did have those powers?
One of the current players I would trust with such a thing is Mordack, but even here, every decision he made would be looked upon in the light that he is an Omegan. No ingame player would ever be able to be trully objective.

No ingame player should ever have the powers of admin, like you said, you would always be seen to be favoring 1 side, everytime something happened that person would be getting questioned, it would be unfair, also you have to think what if that person decided to say screw it, and go out in style.....to much of a high risk factor.

I understand your frustration. Caesar2 was also auto-banned recently and didn't get his account back for a while, now twice! Admin's justification that "we need to have the auto-ban scripts to protect the game from a few who DO cheat" is certainly valid but when your script bans legitimate players, you MUST respond quickly to investigate and restore their accounts. Then, fix your broken code.
In my opinion, anyone who falls victim to an auto-ban due to bogus reasons should have the problem straightened out in 48 hours or less. Every time. Period.
Of course, Admin doesn't regularly check the threads in main and the title of this is probably not compelling enough for a knee-jerk look so you need to bring up this issue at an admin meeting. At least there you can be assured that everyone's concerns are seen.

I didn't suggest players, i just suggested someone who actually does the damn job he's been given.
