Earendil wrote:Why would one want to take a fallen deity as a host to begin with if they aspired to become a God? It would be a big contradiction to the entire idea tbh. and in game you would have to change your race away from Daimon in order to get g/r to ascend anyways(I could be wrong though)

A fallen deity......Or a simple mortal as a host.....???

Sounds better to take the fallen deity. Does it not?

Taking an ex God as a host. In theory you would have alot of power in the mortal realm and in itself be seen as a God.

I know its whack in game terms but in the essence of it.

Exactly. :-D

Well, the closest to a daimon with a goauld symbiote is most likley Anubis,

He was ascended, but then pushed back half way. So he is beyond being mortal and beyond ascended.

An ascended Goauld would most likely be similar as the Ori. Ori where driven for worshippers, but maybe not to the extent as Goauld do it for maniacal empowerment, wheras the ori did it for power to other throw the ancients.

Just some thoughts

That is trus. However the description of an Anja state that value personal growth.
There interest and skills in battle are limited since they concentrate more on self improvement through focus and dedication opposed to power through conquest

Indu's mostly from the races of the Tollan and Nox etc. Being in tune with the cosmos at a spiritual level. They sit on the of good and peace, and as such are not skilled at attack and force, but can and do defend well if attacked.

Ori on the other hand, value control, view themselves as superior, and have no concept of mercy, patience or tolerance. They are evil dominators, who use whatever methods they see fit to accomplish their goals. And those goals are domination of the known planes of existence.
This is an Goauld Trait in my eyes, so thats why I picked Ori.

Pfft Oris have all those noob un-evolved followers with crap clothes and their priors are ugly. 8)
Ajna however, no sg references indeed, but:

Ajna is considered the chakra of the mind. When something is seen in the mind's eye, or in a dream, it is being 'seen' by Ajna.

Is better to me! 8)
