The Great Pathenon of the Gods has, I think finally fallen to the ravaging hordes of the Noobs.

I look through this forum looking at the current life, and I think back to the old days of our once glorious posting reign. I see many inexperienced characters, mere shadows of those who once filled their spots, a once proud God, going slightly insane, and then of course the echoes of those of us that remain otherwise. Like myself, now once again thinking of the past and missing the old witty exchanges of abuse...

There is nothing stopping those guys coming back, and busting the other races in half.

They wont. Because the game has moved away from what SGW essence is, to alliance wars.

I agree ~Horus~, the smaller Goauld are scared to come to the boards and roleplay because in roleplay even the smallest player can talk big, but the problem is, larger players stamp on them as is the way in the stargate world.

True, some of us "new gods" are currently mere shadows of those who once filled these boards but times move on, and we have a new lot of players just starting out on enslavement of the races which are staying true to the Goauld ways. With protection and help, then these will become the next great line of players.

There was a flicker, when the Goauld re-took no 1 spot. Lots of larger system lords where crowing.

I have nothing but respect for mighty gods who once blessed this forum, but I do get tired of players syaing it is not the same,......

Well, do something. Start massing asgards/ancients to remove there powers, but non will.

I will try to play the game as an Goauld and do as much as I can to bring back the race wars and there are other races, uniting as single alliances which is all good for the game.

i'm not an old god. but i use to have have constant flame wars with setesh. back when i was known as comander zao. setesh was my favorite god. we would go at each neck and throat. then he would mass my account into little pieces. i wish he would come back someday. and show all u new ones the ropes of what it is like to be a goa'uld.
