Now, as anyone on my own side knows I had to click the darned button that says vacation, for the sole purpose that I'm coming up on exams and - It's a heavy semester. Going to need a tonne of prep time.

And I know I'm not the only one. However, what I found astonishing, was that someone made an underlying tone of someone who vaca'd due to real life, during war, was more or less, a coward. And I wanted to know ( from all/any war participants ) what the view is, if real life rears it's ugly head, are you a coward for putting real life first?

I spoke to you on msn about this, anyone on anyside who says your a coward for going on vac mode too study for exams needs to quit the game and not return, REAL LIFE always takes priority exams are important.

not a bit cowardly. I have exams starting tmoro sure so i might be doing the same. Good luck with them.

I think you're being very sensible. If you aren't going to be attending your account, then it's better to stick it in vacation than to allow it to become a dormant farm and provide resources for your enemy. I daresay Lajih would disagree, of course, but there's no pleasing everybody.

So yeah, basically the same as what I just told you on MSN.

Anything in real life is more important than this ultimately useless game. Not just exams.

Tactics.

Real life definitely comes first, but the problem is, that excuse is overused.

It seems like a lot of people have "exams" when wars unfold.

Admittedly, Suzuk, it does seem to be overused, but I think since the war did start around end of May, I'm pretty sure most school systems end around now? I couldn't say. I could be quite wrong. =D

lets be honest shall we? i mean real life honest for a minute.

in every war thread ive read where someone goes on vacation the other side 99% of the time will accuse them of being a coward. my question is this...HOW DO WE KNOW THEIR REASONS ARE REAL OR FALSE? answer, we dont. most of the time people just say that to demoralize the enemy or they're just ignorant and react viscerally to anything.

since i am unable to determine whether a person has real or fictional reasons for going on vacation i take them at their word and leave them be. i dont speculate why people go on vacation. maybe they have a reason, maybe they dont. i do know that when people dont have a real reason it is usually found out later on. so it makes no sense to run and hide on vacation and lie about it when odds are good you'll get caught and most likely punished for it by your own alliance.

besides if you run and hide during a war, why play a war game? that baffles the hell out of me.


and btw so far in this war ive seen both sides accuse people of cowardice for leaving their alliance without so much as a reason why they left being given before the accusations start flying around thick as flies on a pile of fresh poo. get proof, THEN call them a coward, not the other way around.
