This job is a joke. If you do it right you'll get kicked out, and if you give in to the mods you will eventually become one of them haha..

But I will vote for MajorLeeHurts and I URGE EVERYONE to change their votes for her!
She will be fair, shes nice, easy to talk to, uncorrupted. I don't know how well she would stand up against the mods, but I know that if they're in the wrong she would.

At what point are we mods not easy to talk to?
Why are we corrupted?
If another mod feels we have done something incorrectly we (mods) will discuss it and come to a solution... something you may have seen various discussions while you were ombudsmen for a while.

Also I'm asking people to change their votes because she wasn't an option. I'm sure if she was she'd be in the lead.

It's NOMINATIONS, Erodude.. not votes.
So if MLH isn't an option yet, she can be simply if a random person say, Eros, nominates her and finds some people to agree with that nomination, second it, and get her in the list.

I split your quote into to parts... as it was possible to split that into two parts without it changing what you wrote...

I dont understand how I have quoted you incorrectly... I just wanted to address the two parts seperately.

Splitting a complete sentence in half makes it vulnerable to interpretation, which is what you did.

Either way whatever. Even if MajorLeeHurts gets the most votes (nominations) I'm sure the mods will pick whoever they want..

I think an ombudsmen needs to stick their neck out and ask questions and such. But at the same point an ombudsmen shouldn't start going around the forums ranting about how **Filtered** mods are and so on this is the definition of ombudsman

So in that sense an ombudsman shouldn't be against either party but should discuss situations with both sides to get the full information and resolve issues people have.

its an arbritrary system we like to keep in place so people think we aren't controlling them using microwaves and radio pulses.

yes he did... but he didnt come onto the forums and bad mouth us as he didnt need to... [edit]he did the ideal job as an ombudsman and clearly people couldn't be happier with him as he was gifted supreme powers [2nd edit]like superman[3rd edit] and captain caveman[/3rd edit][/2ndedit][/edit] and yes he bought us all cyber beers and pretzels (the big ones you get at baseball games/fairs etc)

Jack bakes cookies.. that usually helps your popularity with the officers of the law. Especially when you're baking doughnuts.

Jack's just been a good ombudsman, pretty much by the definition, with a few mistakes along the way which he accepted he made, and so on. Him also being mod material is perhaps related to his fairness and moderation. Those virtues are pretty much required for mods as well as ombudsmen.

Jack a;ways did his work as ombudsman and didnt insult majority of the forums in less then 24hours when he got the job. Many warnings got removed and voided thanks to him and i must say he did a wonderfull job even though he and i barely agree on matters

I rest my case. You mods couldnt of been happier with him. You were so happy on how you managed to corrupt him that you made him one of your own. How fair is that for the people? I'm sure he was pretty much a Mod before he became one. Complaining about the mods to a mod at heart? Palease.. You just want a pencil you can push...
