I haven't taken anyone down yet in this war, but I would love to see a list made of those who have been descended. Also an opportunity for those who have done the descending to take some coup.

there have been a few on either side generally you can only descend the ones who aren't active on the ascended server...

I think I have 6 kills up their total but only 1 from the war :s

descension needs to be fixed so its easier but the penalty is only 1 week... otherwise nobody who is active/spent LF on their ascended being will ever be descended...

it's hard to decend someone if you're the only one attacking him/her.

Sometimes I DO want to mess with the Ascended Assembly. Especially if it means I can attack the protected realms.

Oh, and I finally descended someone active during the war. There was a lot of luck involved.

well either they had a poor account or your and my idea of "active" is different.

Care to elaborate? Not as to who it was but more as to damage and timing and defenses of the defender?

the account is a pretty big account too

They were active as in they logged into the account after the third attack and did not refill their lifeforce. Weapons were repaired and all. I was suspicious that they were trying to get me to use more of my turns before the lifeforce was replenished but 2 attacks later and the deed was done.

The account belongs to one of your allies Lore. The account is better then average in all respects. The owner is worthy of my respect and it was always a pleasure to cross swords with them.

I was on holiday the other week (after getting married go me) and nobody from FUALL etc tried to descend me and I didnt log onto ascension for a whole week...

hugely disappointing...

i've not had a single personal assault from TJP since the war started, 1 attack from cyberblade 3 days ago is all that's in my logs. I was away all last week at my mums, didn't log into ascended at all, zip, nada, nothing.

Rank 19 influence now though, started the war at like 200, lol

to be fair once ascended being stats reach a certain point people realise its pointless to try and descend anyone...

thank the 1/3rd max rule for that... I think that should only last an additional 60 days after the original ascended protection offered to newly ascended people... and just reduce the descension punishment to 5 days that way people can be descended quickly and often unless they build up their power...

but that will never happen as those who dont put anythign into their LF (I've seen many people with huge accounts with bugger all in there ascended being but still log on frequently enough to stop descension due to the 1/3rd limit) would complain that its unfair :s

but sure there is a problem with descension : someone with lvl 650 in personnal skills is impossible to descend.
as exemple, a good attack is around 300mil power, reduced to around 100mil agaisnt a good def. and LF refull very faster than 100mil each 3 hours (with low lvls i'm around 30mil/turn)

maybe time between attacks have to be reduced to 2 hours instead of 3

just remove the 1/3rd cap and while admins at it the growth cap...

sorry Rook but removing the 1/3 cap wont do squat for most of us these days

take my account for example, its a prety average ascended account and there will only be a handful of players that can actually get into my LF reserves after a hit

I think maybe doubling the effectiveness of the two attacking skills might help but that will prolly bring about a lot of complaints because the strong might actually be able to fight the weak

to be fair I've offered lots of suggestions/tweaks to descension as have many others and it just feels like they are falling on deaf ears.

If the repulsion ability is removed it would bring some balance and also removing the 1/3rd max limit would increase the likely hood of someone being descend...

I know I can refill my LF within 3 hours and 2 turns worth will fill my reserves.

So I know people will have to work fairly hard to descend me... most of the time people rarely get throgh my reserves... I hit someone with a more powerful ascended being about 5 minutes a go...

I do approx 200mill damage in my ascended strike and he did around 260... with repulsion and reduction it was taken down to about 35mill damage on him and as he repulsed about 1/3rd of my damage back at me I ended up taking 100mill off my LF and some off reserves...

The reduction abilities given as defensive ascended being stats are too great for it to be worthwhile trying to descend someone who has put the effort in... If I can reduce damage I receive 312million down to 107million without repulsion thats basically 2/3rds of the damage I can do is just pointless... and with repulsion he reduced teh damage I was doing on him by 3/4.

Its really does need a lot of tweaking and the figures on the defensive side definately need reducing...

but its all bollocks really...
