I voted "no", because I was told there's a rotational cycle already. Of course, at any given time, there are people who are actually not very happy with certain mods. That rotational cycle should make sure they're rotated out.. since that is - to my knowledge anyway - already a standard, why go about and call for a change now. :)
Hence my own no.

Since I'm a democrat I'd say yes if it was by voting, BUT,
This wouldn't be PROPER elections (would be another popularity contest regardless of qualities needed to be a mod most of time), so I say NO.
There can't be proper elections for this, unfortunately, so better it doesn't happen.
Mods as of now are fine afterall...so no need to do it! :-)

I voted no...

you cant please everyone all the time and 90% of the people who dislike the mods have probably been told off by them...

TheRook
that statistic was pulled out of my ass

we have a couple verry verry good mods who do their job like it should be done no mather what ppl think of it, and don't think it's apropriate to ask a question like this during war times cuz both sides have global mods:
teal'auc --> FUALL
freespirit --> TJP

what i would like for the mods is to set an example on how to behave on forums --> saying or doing nothing what can get you warned or banned

it is never good for a forum to see a global mod banned

nimras wrote: freespirit has been banned for 14days after recieving a 3th warning

if forum mods don't keep to the rules then it's setting a bad example for the forum users

Its not about that m8, i dont dislike the mods, even if a mod tells me i cant post something or to remove something, but some mods on here, break rules all the time, hell they even get warned and some banned themselves then come back and keep modding, thats just BS, if a mod cannot stick to the forum rules but want to try and tell others too, they need to be replaced end of story, Smoosh knows this awell, but he just wont do it.

But well, I don't really think we need overhauling much.. we like the way things are. (Isn't there some song about that? Timbaland or w/e)

EVERYONE makes mistakes I got carried away in the war thread and when we cracked down on everyone breaking the rules I pointed out my post to Nimras and asked him to warn me for it... so I have my first and hopefully my last warning and that was effectively given by me because I knew what I did was wrong and said in the heat of the moment...

I'm not perfect... I dont pretend to be (well actually I do but thats another matter)

I will uphold the rules set in place on this forum and if people break it I'll beat them to within an inch of their forum posting lives!

Yes everyone makes mistakes, but when some of them makes them over and over and over something needs to be done, even a mod needs 3 warnings before a ban, and they still get them, sorry thats just not what a mod should be doing, if they cant stick to the rules get them out.

Problem is...if we get them out for breaking rules...who to replace them?
Popularity contest with msn convos to bring most people you can to vote for replacer, or "random picking" by global mods and half of people cry biased choice after the change?

Fill the forum back up with Omega mods & admins so we can start blaming them again...
