So yea, when we sab someone we take out there attack/def weapons.
So while where in there lands sabbing away as much as we can, and we see that big shiny mothership sitting there, seeing as the realm as no def and very little covert to protect it, why can we not sab weapons / shields from there MS aswell, after all its all weapons too....
So yea i think MS's should be added to the sabbing, im sure it wouldnt take much to add them.

Hmmm nah.
Massing them is alot more fun.
Especially when they are bigger than yours, and the person you mass is also online when you mass it. A sabotage would NEVER give a little part of the fun it does.

i like this idea actually...gives ppl a chance to beat insane MS's without sacrificing the tons of recources to take it out with a smaller MS... now you can just sab...so another reason for the enemy to build def and spies to cover their shiny MS

but also that means that someone that doesnt have a decent or even small MS can just come up and sab the hell outta a massive MS. sorta takes away a lot of the purpose of a MS

Well technically if they have a massive MS, and they leave there account with 0 def and 0 spies they dont deserve it, as they clearly have no idea what there doing, to many times in this game can someone do max damage when having nothing to destroy, well this update would force them too, you want to have a MS with a 200bill strike, you best build a def/covert to protect it.

I dont think its that liekly to get put in as teh MS isn't going to be sat on the ground in the realm doing nothing... it will be fighting attackin MS's and be up in space... floating around

yea thats one example, but what if its docked for refueling or off patrol?

and even if its in space?
cant you send some engineers in a ship to board it and sabotage it??
the only way it should be safe with be with 'Send MS away' function since else it would be either in the docks or in orbit of your homeworld...not hard to find ..
just saying
i mean how about add something like a slot extra in MS (ie. engineers)where you can put spies in those can sabotage...
not make this slot have levels or something (like you need X level to put in X spies, maybe just a one time 500M cost to get the slot [i know it aint much...but a MS on itself aint much either]) you can just put (at a price similar to training spies from UU and an untrain engineer option so they go back to UU) in as much as you want via the MotherShip Maintenance.
then later you can untrain them to UU (chance of them getting raided) to then retrain them as miner/spies/super
but then we should have another way of attacking them, for not making that engineer slot an infinite reserve for UU, ie if your MS shield power is under 5B (meaning it's been massed/sabotaged) you can kill those engineers with like you can kill fleets when you have more offense power. (instead you would have to mass it some more before hitting the engineers)
and of course one should be able to know who many engineers are trained to a MS trough normal spieing? ie. beneath the no. of spies, add an extra figure for no. of engineers
also have the same kill-off rate for the engineers like when performing succesfull sabotage with normal spies.
this does mean they are assigned to the ship so they won't add covert power to your realm
so have an extra stat, like MS sabotage power...which account for your spy level and no. of spies/engineers in your MS slot
they would just be on the ship to have a means of boarding the enemy MS and sabotage it?

wow must of taken you some time to write that but yeah its a good idea i think you have nearly hit the nail on the head some number and fine tuning and thats perfect

Why don't we just stay to the good old way of massing? Alot more fun and harder than sending in some spys to sabotage a massive ship that is in space...

i like this idea. mebbe would get out of hand but i think it would be better than the classic way of doing things aka. guessing at MS power

Being able to sab would ruin the way ms are used now. Whole point of having a large ms is that its harder for smaller ms to take it out, not just come up flying, let off some engineers and run away unharmed. Needs to be massed imo, since only real point people have is it would cost too much, which is the point...

Yeah we wouldn't someone to be able to something like that; I mean heck, it would make as much sense as sending 15 million and nine attackers against someone and have 15 million of them break off the attack to go after the spies and get ignored whilst your 71 million defenders concentrate on the "main threat" of the nine attackers........oh wait, never mind.
Considering that NONE of the updates Jason has made have addressed any of the issues that are currently affecting the game and he has tried every suggestion SHORT of a reset, can someone please perhaps admit that, at some point in the very near future, a reset of both servers is likely going to be necessary? It's already the only thing that is going to fix ascension, and, judging from the way jason is mucking about in main, it is only a matter of time before main is FUBARed as well.
