So I ascended with 100k UUP, lvl 30 Covert and 26 AC... What do I get, 9b life force?

I knew it wasn't worth anymore but heck, I expected some sort of decent bonus still... I could of made that amount by simply trading 1 day of income!

Any plans on tweaking things a bit?

If it is your first time ascending then that will help you out tremendously. If it is not, then you should have known better.

Since when did people ascend for the bonus to ascended server? Most I know just did it for the bonus to main.

Well a while back, before they made the changes to ascended, my current ascension would payed up tremendously but now it was worthless.

What sucks is that I was a messiah (still a couple of ascensions to go...) so I technically didn't have a choice to ascend with my current stats (and I had those prior to the ascended update) so I got screwed.

To answer your question, allot of people worked up their UUPs and spy lvls to get a decent bonus on ascended...

So anyway, I would hoped for a better bonus...Oh well, you can be sure that my next ascensions are gonna be as crappy as I can make them.

My first ascension, late last year got all my levels over 100... I think that was damn good.

Indeed it sounds like it payed up well for you... I would strongly advise you to avoid having huge stats this time around cause you'll end up wasting tons of naqs like I did

hehe. not to worry-I'm EAG, no plans on ascending in the near future. but yes. I had over 100mil army when I ascended, so there was a bunch of supers... 100k raw or so, and good levels in everything else.

My other ascensions were much lower stats-usually after a massing when I didn't have any more supers to lose.

In any case, my ascended account started out strong from a good first ascension. After that I haven't worried about ascensions-but my ascended account is one of the better ones (probably in the top 50-100 stats wise, though not rank or size wise).

Ascending is all about timing and taking advantage of the game conditions to ascend as much as you can as quick as you can. For example, if you aren't in TJP or FUALL, this war gives you the perfect time to ascend as about half the top 1000 have been massed by now probably

Not to mention the fact with new updates, you only need to be about rank 1600-1700 to get g&r, so there's no reason to do a real beefy ascension, just buy the dmu afterwards from someone like me

he is right... buying DMU has worked out cheaper (before the updates) and cheaper still since the updates)

a person NOT in the war who is a very reliable trader is a good friend of mine Ozrix.

He keeps isn't in an alliance in teh big server war so if you dont want to trade with someone in war give him a pm he's a nice guy.

But at the same time I'd recommend trading with Mathlord as he is an ally

even better trade with both

Personally i think you should do a powerfull ascension for the first one to boost your account up quickly, then just do small ascensions because its not worth the bonus's. However, the ascending process is out of balance i think admin needs to relook at it and change a few aspects like the amount of LF you get from UU, NAQ and UP. but thats just my thoughts, but atm don't do large ascension, just by DMU after your first 1.

Just going to point out, you're going to need 2-3 decent ascensions to get to the point where you can actually buy DMU.

Unless of course you're extremely active, unlike me, I'm tend to sit around on 2,000 turns a fair bit, as farming just isn't worth it sometimes.

There are people who ascended with much more then that over a year ago so i really wouldnt call that doing a big asc.....
As you are messiah you would have had to ascend anyway so why cry?

My first ascension gave me over 100b lf...

Are you sure about that, cb? That's 1Q DMU worth of LF. Plus my first ascension only netted me 350mil LF (and actually decreased for every subsequent ascension).

yeah, I remember that. You can ask the guys who held my resources when I ascended as well. they should remember it.
