I dont know what to vote here Corran. How smart do I think I am?
What does one have to do to be smart? Regurgitate random facts? Memorise general knowledge? be amazingly pedantic? Command a large and varied vocabulary with the ability to deploy it at great speed with elegance to state the obvious in such a way no one realises it? Have a quick wit?

All of the above, in a "perpetual effect" mode.. (as in those RPG's, these abilities are "always ON") Although it helps to sometimes not just state the obvious, but introduce a new concept or train of thought.

Drat.. I think a lot of people use their intellect to the fullest here.. it's just too darned mediocre to be noticed. Be happy though, most of you still beat the average idiocy of the world by far.. (read: not all of you are idiots, and most of you are above the world-average of intellect, in my observation of both)

what I meant to imply was that I dont think any human can conceive of its full potential until challenged to do so by environment or circumstances.
