Demage on Ascended Hit

well, its bugged, its not working as it shoude, sometimes i do 2 times more demage than i shoude, sometimes its half.
Also i belive rank MOD in that is scrued as well, look like it shows the one based on Rank but it realy about size... not sure how it is. but it is scrued.
i recomend admin to take another look in deascension, its become harder and harder by the minute...

Can we see logs of the ascended hits so we can see damage?
As far as rank MOD being messed up, again-details would be helpful. Rank mod is based on several things.
Please, if you give details about everything we can figure out more.

I'm guessing you do 2 times more damage sometimes because of the rank mod or something. Last time i checked each of the 4 def power ups amount to the same thing basically in resisting the damage so just adjust your spread sheet accordingly.
rank mods are impacted by rank in that specific stat, overall rank (i think, or it is every other stat being compared but with small impact or other stats don't really matter lol) and number of planets all compared against the other player.
Then again...i havn't been playing in over a month now.

Can we get some clarification PSICOLIX? I'd like to see more specific details-as I'm not quite sure what you're talking about.
That said, presuming your discussing the "Attack" the modifier varies from 60%-130%. That is first based off the ranking of your strike VS their defense. If those are similar it then takes into account other rankings.
Regarding "Ascended Battle" I'm not sure how you get "wrong" damages on ascended hits. I'd like to see actual numbers if possible.

well i hited a guy with 68% rank mod, that shoude make me do 160 in demage, i did 136, than 3 hours later i untrained everything, 0 dark, covert attack and defence, the rank MOD was 112% and i did 136 demage, shoude be 240.

Given that both hits destroyed exactly the same amount of Life Force I'd have to guess that you hit them for the maximum amount possible (1/3). If you post the user's name I can spy and check it out, or you can also post the attack log-that says when it was limited to 1/3.

of course that was not the CAP! Its a BUG.
Having their physical military neutralized the physical defences of the realm, PSICOLIX moves to meet x in a one on one Ascended Battle!
Starting with 108,378,000 weildable life force, with 296,850,051 attack potential after accounting for energy attack power and skill,PSICOLIX meets x - who has 48,790,200 life force capable of being used in battle- in an ascended match of epic magnitude!
Simutaneously, the two ascended beings launch ascended energy attacks on each other. Time stands still, the surrounding physical plane crackles with diffusing power, and the entire Ascended plane shudders while the battle rages.
PSICOLIX impales Editted by TheRookwith 296,850,051 of ascended damage.
The energy absorbing power, skill, and the unique skill of energy repulsion -usable only within ones own realm, and their constitution, lessens this by 160,105,385 to 136,744,666 total damage taken, thereby reducing their life force and reserves by this amount.

Both parties are exhausted, these battles being very taxing on ones being. While the battle is now over, it is also not finished. It has will finish in 3 real hours (or 3 eons ingame time). Yes - linear time is one of the things that are left behind in the ascended planes.
Regardless, the two ascended beings have will part ways, and both wonder about the next time they meet....

I have to say-that looks about right for that attack:
Strike: 296,850,051
Damage: 136,744,666
That is 46%.
Their levels:
Personal Defence Power Level: 102
Personal Defence Skill Level: 101
Personal Constitution: 570
Energy Repulsion Level: 570
Just constitution and repulsion get them to about 55-60%, so the defense levels could drop them another 10% or so.
Could we see the other log so we can compare? If there is a bug I want to find out what it is ASAP.

repusision is not supose to count into defence, a guy with 100% repusion shoude take X demage and bounce x back. used to be like that...
and the bug IS, the MOD CAP its not working. and lets do the math right...

Energy Repulsion Level 570 28,50% 54.506.614,97 136.744.665,63 (the # exactaly, what proves that the mod is not working and the repusion is counting)

repulsion is usable only in your own realm so the person your attacking repulses your attack back... which it should...
also the rank mods while displayed on the ascended being attack page dont actually do anything... which is right otherwise descension would be pointless against someone with 0 in all stats.... (snipers/pirates whatever you want to call them)

also in your post it says who it is your attacking I'll edit it out...

p.s. descension needs to be looked and and fixed because its just impossible otherwise...

Repulsion has always counted towards defense, at least as long as I've known-so at least the last year or so. I don't know what point you're remembering from.

no, they didn't. im sure of it. for 2 things.
1- i remenber the discusion about in the admin meeting where was decided that to repuse the attack you woude need expend you energy...(not free)
2- i had a precise cauculate for ascended hits, and it didn't toke repusion in consideration(means: i have the old formula, it always worked and repusion was not a factor)

Well, I can't speak from history. As a said-I can only speak from experience. And as far as I can remember repulsion has counted. The only date that I can one hundred percent guarantee is whatever day I posted the attack log on myself-thats in one of these ascended forums.
