I chose it when I restarted SGW and temporarily had the username '_DEATH_' - seemed to fit nicely and I just didn't bother changing it.

Mine has ever only gone by three names.
The first being
Thunder Child as a throwback to Wells' Iron Clad that sacraficed itself to down a few mighty metal warlords, the second being
Terminus Est, Latin for "This is the end" and also the name of the sword of Severian the Lictor.

Holofernes (Hebrew, הולופרנס) was an Assyrian[1] invading general of Nebuchadnezzar, who appears in the deuterocanonical Book of Judith. It was said that the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar dispatched Holofernes to take vengeance on the nations of the west that had withheld their assistance to his reign. The general laid siege to Bethulia, commonly believed to be Meselieh, and the city almost surrendered. It was saved by Judith, a beautiful Hebrew widow who entered Holofernes's camp and seduced him. Judith then beheaded Holofernes while he was drunk. She returned to Bethulia with the disembodied head, and the Hebrews defeated the enemy. This can be interpreted as a honey trap.
By the way.. how ironic is it if your name is Judith Holofernes..

Mines "HMS Feral Dutchman"
HMS is still from the days i was in the EoB, it simple stands for 'Her Majesty's Ship' i think
and Feral Dutchman.. says enough

HMS Shibby
most EoB MS's will contain HMS and I believe it is His Majesty's Ship in the context of EoB. I'm sure Bryth will come a long and confirm which it is.
Its Shibby is from "Dude Wheres my Car?"

For a certain war I was considering to rename it to "anal intruder" but I wasn't quite sure if that was ok with the game rules... so I decided not to.

Yep, i've seen admin delete ships before....nasty business.
Mine, has always been called "Chesty Puller". After one of the heros of the 2nd World War and Korea. If you are curious beyond that, I suggest google.
