Improving usefulness of sabotages.....

On discussion with some friends, i wish to place a suggestion...

Does anyone else think that getting a Naq reward on certain successful sabotages would increase its usefulness?
the conditions suggested are:
- 50% of replacement cost for that weapon (for sab'd person) in naq to the saboteur. :?
- only for sabotages on people above you or 25% of your ranking below you. :?
- if sab on a person who has set their status with you to war, goes up to 75%, regardless of rank :?
- if in an alliance war, 25% for whatever rank. :?

this was brought up due to a feeling that sabotages become useless with the generally enormous unit loss on sabotage on rankings close to you, and that this may improve its tactical usage. :-)

Post opinions?

nah - keep naq out of it.

it's still tactical as it is because if there is sufficient reason for people to use it, they will - and it is only right that you incur a higher loss against an opponent of similar covert ability. It is the way it is now because in the past covert has been very overpowered.

there have been suggestions in the past about different types of covert missions though - such as intelligence gathering, which could include in-game message logs, attack logs, intelligence logs and details of broker trading etc.

The current sabbing system, if you know how to use it properly is completely affective, and it doesnt need any tweaking.
