I see the thread is "unlocked" but it is locked for me, I messaged smooshable of 24 hours ago but no response and am runnig out of time to vote, Actually I dont even know why im not allowed to vote as my forum account is over a year old with over the specified amount of posts.

I am in this boat, except I have supposibly been given access and yet do not have the option to vote. I was one of the first people to request access as well.

I have this problem as well. I requested access and not long after I could see the section and the thread yet I couldnt vote or post. I made a post about it in the access requesting thread (figuring smoosh would read it) yet last I checked it seemed to have been ignored by everyone :/

I didn't request anything, but was able to vote fine

Hey, some guy who I dont know spammed this on my MSN and a few other folks too, looks like it might be real and related to this thread kinda sorta.

Me too actually. Ive been given access but can't vote.

This post should explain your predicaments.

Vendetta; you requested access before the section was visible to everyone, then the section became visible (which you and many others interpreted as receiving rights to it), but only after you posted in the designated thread, you received proper access.

There are currently 69 people with voting rights; listed in the post I gave you the link to.

Everyone who requested access through PM has NOT received it. This is because in principle, the Request Permissions Thread is the way to receive access. Any other way is invalid, and will not be entertained.
To receive the required access, post in the thread, and wait for Smooshable to come by and add you to the usergroup.
