What's wrong with the game today?

Pretending to be in a coma to get UU from people that feel bad for you.
Exposing shady things mods do in secret.
Tok`ra/elladan match the crime* to the user. And note which person is now a mod and which is banned.
*Crime = offense that the user was banned for most recently.

Whats wrong? People assuming things, people who don't know what the story actually is and are just jumping on the bandwagons.

Wasn't smooshable also 'assuming'...? Ahhh, I get that right. Double standard king!
Oh, and it is Truth Elladan pretended to be in comma.. people were believing her, some were sending stuff to her for once she returns. So it's no bandwagon here. She has brought it on herself by accusing someone of deceiving while she herself did deceive this community in possible the worst way possible.

Can we keep this on topic please? LOL This isnt about the current smooshable/mods catfight. Thats in the next thread over.
Im just curious about how a user who pretended to be in a coma for months as a prank became a mod, while a user whom (quite rudley I admit) just exposed people for shady doings (Tok`ra) gets permabanned.
Yay.. another post in my count, at this rate I will be able to vote in umm... another 3 years or so... tee hee hee

Auriel made a few mistakes in the past, she's come clean about them and spent quite some time making up for them. She didn't actually brake any forum rules, even if what she did was low.
Tok`ra didn't JUST expose mod corruption, he spammed the forum with everything from disgusting pictures of people being graphically tortured to several reports (though I didn't see these first hand) photo's of child pornography. There are many reasons he's banned for braking forum rules.

It's matter of principle and example of double standards. Favoritism seems to be very much plague of these forums...as some people excuse great immoral mistakes of one and punish other one...

I generally wouldn't assume things if I hear the whole story itself. When there are loose ends, people will try to tie them together, sometimes resulting in plausible, yet untrue details which only go downhill on the bandwagon. If people are simply kept "in the loop" and informed, there wouldn't be any need to assume corruption as there is nothing left to hide.

I don't feel I did right to join this respect group since it's meant to be to show example and respect to poeple, but if it's always same BS on forums, I don't see the reason to join this group at all, because nothing can be done apparently.
The local "omg commies are evil" here we go!
Really I thought for a second those forums FINALLY evolved/changed a bit, guess, I was wrong!
None of you who are talking crap about her know her, I know her and I know she's one of BEST people around to be a mod!
Can a mod lock it?
We have already enough with the bashing admin topic, or do we need an official bashing topic for every forum regular member?

LOL there is no point in complaining about who makes it to a mod, some of them who are there currently have broken the forums rules time and time and time again,some have even been banned, and there still a mods, and the admin of all the mods doesnt seem to have a set to which to say NO to them, so the trend continues,
This sadly means the ones who are good at it, dont break the rules, dont spam the place up, also get painted with the same brush and thats too bad,
Want to be a mod, go post your dying or you've died, come back with a new name, pretend your new, when your caught out lie about it, if that fails, change your name to another member of the community cause alot of crap, then lie about it, or become Osbudsman do nothing, decide you will be a mod and get it, or in failing all of the above, spam the forums with mindless crap, break as many rules as you can, and ull be handed it on a platter.....
And if all that fails, get yourself a troll like Apophis here, to post in every topic you do, to back you up no matter what, to make it look like your a saint.. never fails.
To the few mods who are good, you know who you are, keep up the good work, to the rest of you sad excuses, well nuff said.

There is more to this game than trying to get a mod job on the forum.
Just because someone does not want a mod job does not mean that you are doing a good job.
