Mods will need to contact me via pm, and not post in any thread in this section. This is mainly due to the request of several players, who made their case. They prefer the mods deal with me in a private manner over pm. This however will be waved if the party making the complaint so decides.

just to make sure, this means that:
if player X has issues with mod W, then mod W will send arguments and such to you (unless specified otherwise)?

That was the idea, but after consulting several mods I am amending it once again. The mod whom is in question may post, but not others. I understand the need to protect your fellows, to guard them from what you see as slander on their character.
None the less, it's my job to find a middle ground. So limits are on all sides

I understand.
Could you also maybe amend it to where only the one filing the complaint (or one with a similar grievance) may post as well? Reading all the spam as people argue about the same things over and over without waiting for you or the questioned mod to comment in here is a bit annoying for myself and I can only imagine for you as well. So if maybe posts could be limited to a:
Person A complains about Mod decision by Mod B.
Mod B responds.
Ombudsman discusses the issue.
No posts from Persons T,V, D, or F. (50thousand times saying the same things over)
No posts from Mods E or G (supporting or disagreeing with Mod B)

That's a good idea, Thade, have it like the debate section. It'll be far better organized that way.

The rules are fluid. They will change when they need to change.
