I tried to trade 400mil for 1/2 of 20$USD Support Bonuses... But i got the following message: "You must choose a package quantity of 2 in order to obtain the Supporter Bonuses. That is the only valid quantity."

Does it means we have to pay 800mil (2x400mil) to have PPT?

If you want to get it threw the market then yes.

edit: and since I'm already here: can I make two seperate trades to get 1/2 supporter bonuses each time in order to get the full bonus, or does it have to be at once?
edit: if the min. is two then why have the multiple of 1 there?

ie. 1000 turns and 10K units for full supporter status

1000 AT and 10k UU is the same as 500AT and 5k UU times 2.


500at and 5k UU is a valid option

PPT = protected planet treaty

1.) I'm trying to trade 1000 turns for 1/2 supporter bonuses and I'm getting the same error. How is it valid if it won't go through?

2.) If 2 is the min. then why have a multiple of 1 there?

Well you cant have 1/2 supporter bonus. If i am right you get the full SS (supporter status) when using the multiples. So you would buy the $20 dollar ss wich comes with the PPT as wel as the rest of the benefits. Therefore 20k UU or 2000 AT isnt that expensive at all.

I don't have Supporter Status(SS).

-Why then is there a choice on the drop down menu for "1/2 of $20USD Supporter Bonuses". In fact it's the only choice on the drop down menu(for me at least).

I interperted it as a player could make one trade with 10K units for 1/2 SS, and another trade of 1K turns for another 1/2 SS, thereby getting the full SS, using the multiple 1 twice(on two seperate transactions), and using 2 of the 3 "trades and/or donations" for the week.

So then, only valid choices are multiples of 2 are valid to get SS, if you dont already have it? If someone already has SS can they use the multiple 1 for another 1/2 bonus? Is is possible to have 1.5 SS, or is it only SS, 2SS, 4SS, etc.? Why even have a multiple of 1 there then? Would it be better removed?

Maybe I'm making things more complicated than they actually are.

I think it is in half because of the resources you can use: 10k UU 1000 turns or 400.000.000 naq. If they would offer full $20 SS they would be 20k UU 2.000 AT and/or 800.000.000 naq. This way it would only be available for the high ranked players.
As the update page states: "It also allows non-supporter status players to acquire supporter status with only ingame goods."
So it is not possible to only buy PPT on the market.

I tried it and no, you cant have 1/2 SS for PPT. But it is better not removed for the players who wont pay $20 for SS and want to buy it through market. Unless offcourse Forum decides otherwise .

Ok, so i just made a trade and now have SS.

My command centre screen says "Protected for: 2,879 minutes". Does anyone know if I lose SS(now beside my name) when the time runs out? Will my account spontaneously combust, or my universe implode?

no you wont loose ur ss status ever...

You will be marked as {Supporter Status} (visible to you only) and this marking, and the ongoing benefits (ability to transfer resources) will never go away - even if the round is reset.

when the time runs out, you no longer have ppt and then you will have to buy it again...
