kay, here's what i figured out about ANY possibility of a TPW-SGW relation as I know i suspected one from day 1 and others might've too.
the only link they have is that they've got the same nameservers. That's all I could find out without calling the nameserver provider.

for Jason's benefit; this means I have not connected him to thepredatorwars meaning i do not believe he scammed anyone out of anything.

(i used to think Jason ran TPW and SGW simultaneously and i know alot of other people did as well. Here's how SGW and TPW are connected (and actually aren't)

TGW/SGW --... well... do I need to?

TPW was said to be run by the same people that run TAW, Netinegro Enterprises. Net-I registers its customers domains in its own name, but puts thier phone number which for TAW is same as TOC, and TOC is related to SGW.
HOWEVER. TPW was only SAID TO BE run by same as TAW, nothing actually proven. That was something that was misconcepted see link @ end of post.

Anyone here remember ThePredatorWars? How it mysteriously disappeared after having sold A LOT of Supporter Status but being plagued by cheaters? (then multiple accounts such as LoD's being banned without warning or reason?)


iunno, I had the revelation today. TPW isn't registered anymore though so its not whoisable, I'm going on pure memory here but this post is what made me go "oh wait, maybe my memory isn't wrong!". As mentioned earlier though, no concrete relation to TAW. I personally thought Jason ran TPW but never really knew for sure.

I don't know though, this all came to me and I found it mighty suspicious.
I know I was one of the players of TPW but I left before it died (SS costed 150m uu due to cheaters).

However... since the game was dropped with no warning that quite possibly some might still be looking for some sort of closure.

ThePredatorWars was a game that started off strong, got a few hundred players. eventually released SS then went off the grid not terribly long after it had milked what it needed. TPW and TAW mightve been related(not proof'd), and all I'm trying to show is that TAW is related to TOC which is related to SGW.

In other words... did Jason run TPW? That is the question.

admin had many games be4 this one, and he ll probably have many after this one...
such is the nature of it.. dont be fooled.. while he might like some of the ppl, while he might like some of the games, at the end of the day its just bussiness.

TOC was a great game, till he had a revelation about updating it with path servers, since then the game has died away, i ve tried to keep interest in it as compared to sgw.. its acualy a game of skilz, and knowlidge... but sadly too many of the oldies quit over the "new update" and so the game died off...

wonder if the history is likely to repeat itself....

I know this seems like large scale assumptions, but for the people who were donkey'd this seems a bit fair.


SO TO BE FAIR TO JASON the only "proof" is that netintegro is the name server of TPW. That's it. Nothing else. However I'm not done.


FYI:

I called netintegro (woot for VoIP)

Netintegro registers domains names in THEIR name hence the Netintegro @ domain registrant information.
However, in turn they put their customers information in the appropriate spots.

So, according to netintegro's own registration information;

which quite clearly is the same information, but according to alex kotchetkov who I spoke to over the internet phone says they put their customers information in the boxes... ya ok...
contradictory who's address is there? Then the nubmer is the one on SGW's whois.


So really... all this brings me to is, where is the connection between thepredatorwars and theancientwars? JUST the DNS servers. That's it.

Just need to piece together the information at this point, and connect TAW and TPW together with more then just their DNS (though akoch didn't seem unfamiliar with TPW and quite frankly released information without asking who I was)
Now Alex knows of TAW right off the bat.

dunno if I'm onto something but I'll keep making phone calls... I've had a sudden angry urge @ TPW for what it did to it's players.

Jared Chapman the registrant for TPW and PLInc has fake numbers around but a real one on his PLinc site. Of course, straight to voicemail but I'm using a voip so can't call meh back no no no.


KAY! I got Jared Chapman! Says he just didn't have time to program the game and that was his only reason for shutting it down. I brought up the no post on forum issue and he kinda dodged it. Overall.... my vote was that it was a sham.
(770) 295-9327 is Jared Chapman's number if you wanna ask him yourself, according to Phoenix Light Inc's website.

fYI: no relation to jason what so ever. Not that I can see at the very least unless netintegro has a different story to tell but i mean, nah.


SO! The whole story summed up (god this must be hard to follow)

TPW registered @ Go Daddy
Nameservers were @ NetIntegro (I should call and ask if they were on the same hosting as TAW... heh!)

TAW is registerd by NetIntegro and has the same registered phone number as TOC (TOC is owned by Jason)

TOC-TAW-SGW are apparently related via having each other as contact info and same phone #'s

TPW and TOC/SGW/TAW there is no concrete connection between the bunch.

Now... this SHOULD hopefully put an end to the thoughts that TPW was an SGW rip (and sure as hell looked like one) and that TPW was an older version of SGW (it could've been, but I just can't be 100% sure or even 10% sure that it was Jason who ran it).


A note though: jared chapman mentioned WAY back when TPW started that he was getting married and brought it up again over the phone that he had gotten married and his priorities changed.
He said tohugh that the people who spent money lost their money and that the service was offered "as it was" and so uh... sham.


P.S. Yes, I am bored on a saturday evening. Also, please move this to this,that,those or spam temple as it really doesn't fit SGW general now that I think back to it. *slaps forehead*

I remember TPW and was one of the scammed, Thanks for all the info. Now there once was a Babylon5 game, but it went under for some reason, I guess too many exploits. Now maybe someone we trust to make a good game, i.e. Jason, we could have one that will succeed.
