Recon Bug...

I was attack by someone in ascended and wanted to covert them to find out who they were in main and there setup...trained enough covert to see both total planets and DMU in the open, but when I tried to recon or god quest them I got this message
now this person has a Sphere Of Influence: 4,973,414,991 Planets and I am near 4,000,000,000 Planets myself, so this is very bizzare and possible makes the top ranks untouchable as I will note this player is rank 16 at the moment. What ecatly has happened?
