Hello, I started playing stargate wars 2-3 days ago and have already rose to rank 4550. I'm looking for an alliance and I apologise if I've posted this in the wrong place. As a abid forum user I understand the annoyance of people posting threads in the wrong section. But I couldn't work out where this post belonged. Can anyone suggest a decent alliance to join. One that is active with it's members and offers help and support because although I have a basic grasp of the game, some of the finer points still alude me. Please any suggestions?
And I apologise once again if this threads in the wrong place

is there any new asgard player thats posted on this forum that u havnt reccruted, lol how many in your alliance now?

and i would sure hate to be in a war with u... massing 1 asgard with that holigram thing is bad enough, let alone a whole aliance
especialy one as big as urs

we're pretty quiet. we're all little boys and girls. seriously though, who else will help new people? a lot of alliances have requirements that newbies have no hope of being able to match in the short term. i wanted to give new players a home where they can grow up. it will even get more interesting if i decide to remove the asgard only restriction.

anyway, its a peaceful alliance for newbies to grow. nothing more. once they've grown, they can stay home or look for a new home.

nah u can't help so many at the same time. best thing to do is take a selected few

If i select only a few, then only a few people gain some knowledge. What happens to the rest? Because the game is slow they might decide to quit if there is no helping hand to aid them. Besides, by limiting my recruiting to asgards, i am already selecting a few. tauri warlords are doing the same. the goauld have the Horus Guards. I don't know if the Replis have something similar in place. The Daimons have their own alliance too.

u take on too many, and then a problem of miscommunication and uncoridation will appear, plus hard to keep rules and a structure, the less u have, the easyer it is to keep order and "share the love" so to speak

what you say is true. but then, the alliance exists to teach new comers their baby steps. if they stay because they are greatful, then more people to help me teach them baby steps.
