after running many tests i can official confirm that the general massive bug i was looking for has been found.

it's the entire game and forums!

everything else works as well as my narrowband allows, even with loads of graphics and stuff.

but this one bloody game needs 5-10 min (!!!!!) to refresh/load page! it cannot cope with about only 490 ppl playing simultanously! it's a disgrace for human race! same for the forums!

Sometimes IE/FF freeze for no reasons indeed out of the 10:00-11:00 gmt freezing.

And as for lag, i only get a minute prior and after turnchange.

I'm having issues with the sgw server for both main and ascended timing out.

I'm not talking about lag and such...it's not taking long to get the "page load error". My internet is fast, and ONLY these two are giving me trouble. Is anyone else having this happen. I made my own topic, but it was locked because they foolishly believed it the same bug as this one....and there is no sticky in bugs that I have found. (Next time, ask me before locking a thread i post in bugs...usually there is a reason behind a new thread.)


I did all that, re-launched the browser...and got the following.

The server at ascended.stargatewars.com is taking too long to respond.
The server at http://www.stargatewars.com is taking too long to respond.
he requested site did not respond to a connection request and the browser has stopped waiting for a reply.

* Could the server be experiencing high demand or a temporary outage? Try again later.
* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check the computer's network connection.
* Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.
* Still having trouble? Consult your network administrator or Internet provider for assistance.

clearing browser cache and restarting the browser is only a stop gap. it's not the solution. but since there seems to be no solution in sight, then the stop gap will do for now. if you're using IE, you need to press F5 then restart browser. Firefox, tools menu then clear private data.

you can also use ccleaner - which i highly recommend. I did both myself. I find it interesting that IE had a problem, even though I NEVER use IE for the game....also, it didn't fix the problem.

hmm, i guess the problem depends on your internet provider or location. if it's not the browser, then it's something else. mine's loading fine with firefox 2.

I hope not lol. If it's working fine for you, I might have new and interesting problems. My internet is fine except for sgw.
