Ok I will be the first to make an "official" topic about this in the "correct" area.

I think this should be straight foward and simple. I speak for many I am sure when I say we are tired of the server war topic not being properly moderated. Now i'm not sure if I missed the memo that said moderators are no longer allowed to delete other peoples post, but since when did moderators stop DELETING off topic/spam posts to help keep topics clean and on topic? That would be the easist solution to keep them clean. Half of the off topic spam is being done by players not even in the war, yet you gave an ultimatum to everyone that if "take 3" is closed then that is it.

In short, let the people who actualy stay on topic and within the rules continue posting in peace and be more strict if you have to be on those who are not please.

perhaps you are ignorant to the fact other people might have ideas or thoughts other than your own in reguards to events that have played themselves out.... and besides your ontopic is somebody else's off topic. also if take 3 is done have the thread locked........

That was absolutely NO help at all.

People that can't stay on topic and/or spam = ruin fun for those who can stay on topic. I forgot...are we in elementry school here still or what? I thought this forum was above punishing everyone for the actions of some but I guess not.

The world is not like that.. why would the forums be any different?

If your town houses terrorists, do you think we'll just seek out the terrorists and risk failing to grab them? No. We rather clusterbomb your town, so that we can be sure we hit the terrorists. That chance of almost zero that the terrorists moved out elsewhere, that's not relevant. We can ignore that.


If your newspaper prints an article by your star reporter which is completely racist, do you think the people are satisfied by nailing only that star reporter? No.. the whole newspaper will go down.


If you get out of a bus, and 2 stops later, the bus blows up, do you think you won't be held on suspicion? You will.



Use the report button, and a moderator will take appropriate action.

I think by making a THIRD topic they would rather just "start over" rather than going through and deleting...please tell me that I am wrong and i'll gladly shut up...

Well.. you have a point. Not sure I (or anyone) can deny that.

I'd love to help, I hate having to read through all that junk that doesn't even have anything to do with the war just to read something about it...

But reporting every single post that is off topic? ya...

Using the report function also helps the mods that don't care about actually reading the thread but would like to help keep the thread clean. Overall the report button is your friend...but don't abuse your friends and over use them. ;P

Well the topic is because of neutrality and unbiasy modded by me.

And now another mod.

But i can also tell you following.

First Thread had following:

20 warnings where around 10 was for spam.
3 people banned.
50 reports.
20 complaints average a day from users about spam, insults and abuse.

Got closed.

Take 2:

10 warnings. 3 for spam i recall.
0 banned
30 reports
Average of 10 complaints a day.

Now it still got closed.

Now we are on take 3.

It would help if you people would take your fellow members in the hand and actually try to kick them for doing all they can to ruin the thread then i will do all i can to make sure those few that is left wont.

See thats working as a team in the first 2 no one helped by trying to stop the insults or spam by their own members aside.

But anyway no worries i will give try and put more effort into it that i did already.

I have tried to read every page each day to find as much i can but i still need your helpt tho.

So do you want me to report every single post that is off topic/against the rules or just every new area (spam in that topic usualy occurs in groups of 2 or more posts in a row, then gets back on topic for a bit, etc..)?

i have told a mod this in pms

but here it goes

when you say, that u will lock this if there is 2 much spam

its only encouraging the spammers to get it locked

.........the fact is, i do not see OBVIOUS spam DELETED or removed or modded at all........

u should do the following if the fuall tjp thread is 2 hard to manage

put up a new thread for it,

call it FUALL VS TJP (NO SPAM) thread

friggin define in the post what the mods consider spam

give warning, that any post that contains spam like material will be deleted without warning or notice

mods will keep track of whos posts they remove

and will ban/warn members who post spam 2 often

look..........im sorry if you are unable to control a thread i really am

but the fact is

because SOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo many people are in this war

and care about this topic in some manner even the ones that are not in the war

it has the most hands in the pot, and when u allow 2-4 people to chat back and forth on the thread PURELY spam

its your own fault for not dealing with it properly

if i was running it, id just start banning people for 24 hours for 1st infraction, to get their attention

and to be honest, when i get on the thread and see spam, i really just dont care, i read a few pages every day or so

and post when i have something relevant to say

just own up and take control

but stopping posts on the most relvant subject for the server is sILLY

its a farm fest, so most the posts are banter

the banter back and forth, nothing wrong with that

if i come on and go, I LIKE CHEESE, yeah friggin ban me for a day
