Daimon Advancement

I think that if you become a daimon you should beable to get 1001 G&R, so the daimons can advance.
So lets say, sumone decides to become a daimon at Prior(Ascension 1)
I say if someone becomes a Daimon they should still get G&R so they can advance ascension lvls. Thus gettiong stronger but not literaly ascendiong.

Prolly not going to happen since deascending is an option and you know in advance what the down falls are.

No thanks.
If you want to ascend again you should switch to the base race and ascend that way. Why should you be getting more ascended bonuses as a daimon if you don't want to play the ascended (therefore gambling like everyone else on losing the bonses should one want to deascend you.).

No they shouldn't get a bonus, they choose to not get the bonuses of ascending that's their own problem.

No.
You get bonuses when you ascend. If you choose to descend yourself then you are basically saying you don't want those bonuses. Why should you be given other bonuses?

The idea that people think that Daimon should get something is funny honestly.
They do something and it's half of that they would be getting if they stayed on good standing on ascended. Since you guys decided to ditch that route, you're pretty much SOL until you switch back to a base race and ascend again. No best of both worlds, sorry.

No
To ascend means to:
1) Get bonusses
2) Get an ascended account
Half the fun of SGW is on ascended. Daimons deprive me of the fun of descending them. Why then should they be able to ascend again and get better bonusses? They were well informed of their choice (unless they didn't read the forums, which makes it their own problem, not mine), and now have to live with that choice.

People that ascend get bonuses on their Main account. To temporarily take away someone's bonus you need to descend them on the ascension server.
If a Daimon gets bonuses on Main then those bonuses can't be taken away temporarily in war, which is unfair.

No - if a Daimon wants to ascend they should have to change to a base race to do it - simply for the reason (as pointed out by others) that you make the choice to descend yourself, knowing what will happen.
And I believe in SG1, Anubis was classed as a half-ascended/half-Goa'uld being - not a descended being.

Daimon is half ascending half mortal.

Irrespective of that - people know, within the realms of SGW, what becoming a Daimon means to this game, including the consequences - which means that they also know what they need to do if they wish to re-ascend. (besides, I can't recalling Anubis re-ascending?).
There is little sympathy for anyone who complains about something they knew was going to happen before they took the action that led to the situation.
And SGW doesn't run true to SG1 anyway, other than with some of the names. I've even argued that we don't have Stargates in the game (which we don't).
